About this deal

Add to this some decent shadow detail retention in the darkest image corners and you’ve got dark scenes that don’t instantly and distractingly look like some poor relation to bright scenes. This level of consistency is enough in itself to embarrass an uncomfortable number of more expensive TVs.

The 43A6GTUK delivers native 4K sources with a very respectable level of sharpness and detail, too - enough to appreciate what 4K can bring even to a relatively small 4K screen, especially when it comes to giving images a more three-dimensional look. This volume limitation does mean the set can’t keep escalating its sound as far as the most raucous scenes would like it to, resulting in a rather thin, swallowed effect right where you’d hope for the speakers to really be letting rip. This is hardly unusual for the TV world, though, and impacts many sets that cost way more than the 43A6GTUK does. If you need advice on your faulty product please feel free to ask, we will be more than happy to advise you. Enjoy outstanding picture quality and enhanced online features with this Hisense 4K Smart TV. Over one billion shades of colours can be reproduced thanks to Quantum Dot technology. 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160) resolution provides a pin-sharp, stunningly realistic picture with beautifully natural motion and incredible detail. The 58A6BGTUK uses Hisense’s VIDAA U5 operating system. Simple to navigate and easy to understand, the system has been designed around simplicity. Bluetooth also features on this model, so you can sync up a smartphone or tablet to enjoy even more content on the 43” screen. Build quality is perfectly acceptable, and while there’s nothing luxurious about the feel of the plastics from which the Hisense is mostly made, there are no creaks or groans from the frame either. Keep the price uppermost in your mind and there’s little to be disappointed about here.UHD AI Upscaler Elevate existing HD to the next level. Enhance all of your favourite sports, TV shows and movies to, near-4K quality effortlessly.

Sports Mode - Feel like you're at the heart of the action with Sports Mode for an immersive picture and sound experience. The 43A6GTUK’s sound is potentially bolstered by built-in Dolby Atmos decoding, though it remains to be seen if such a cheap TV has a good enough sound system to really derive much benefit from what Dolby Atmos can do. What this basically means is the more Dolby Vision content you can feed the A6G, the better the HDR will look. Thankfully Dolby Vision dominates the main video streaming services and is used by Netflix, Disney+ and Apple TV. It’s also fairly common on 4K Blu-ray, which means you shouldn’t find it hard to get the most out of the A6G when it comes to HDR. ARRAffinity cookie is set by Azure app service, and allows the service to choose the right instance established by a user to deliver subsequent requests made by that user. There are many TVs, at all sorts of prices, which make us suggest you buy a soundbar. The Hisense A6G is a TV that makes us shout ‘BUY A SOUNDBAR’ at the tops of our voices. It’s fitted with an audio system of two full-range drivers powered by a total of 16 watts - and while Hisense may have been shooting for ‘smooth and inoffensive’ it’s actually ended up with ‘bland and uninvolving’.More expensive TVs hoping for a picture horror show from the 43A6GTUK should brace for disappointment. The set is actually anything but a video nasty, producing pictures that in some ways humble those of some much more expensive models.

Between the HDMI inputs and the smart TV interface, it’s the work of a moment to get some native 4K content on board. And thanks to set-up menus that are either mercifully brief or frustratingly restricted (depending on your point of view), it won’t be long before you’ve achieved the most pleasing picture balance available. Despite the fact that the Hisense E76G series is located in the hierarchy above the low-budget entry models, the manufacturer adopted the standard 2.0CH sound variant. The 50E76GQ is equipped with a pair of speakers with a total power of 20 watts. The sound system specification includes support for Dolby Atmos (Dolby MS12), but for realistic sound you will need an additional soundbar or AV receiver of your choice. Conclusion If someone comes across a different type of panel or their Hisense A6Gdoesn't correspond to our review, let us know, and we'll update the review. Note that some tests like the gray uniformity may vary between individual units.

It’s unusual to find any departure from the accepted idea of ‘design’ where televisions are concerned, and that goes double when the TV in question is priced as aggressively as the Hisense A6G. So it follows that this TV looks reassuringly like a TV, with no gratuitous design flourishes to be seen. There are similar models available in the US, known as the A6GX Series TVs, but they're different because they use a different operating system. In Canada, this model is the Hisense A68G, and the results are also valid for it. As Hisense's lineup differs in other countries, the results aren't valid for any similarly-named models internationally.
