About this deal

If you’re looking for a playset, this isn’t it. If the ferocious face isn’t enough to scare your kids away, the fact that the set has no moving parts and no real playability might. It’s a set very firmly aimed at adults, and that’s fine. You won’t be disappointed, particularly if you’re a fan of Carnage and the Spider-Man universe at large. Other Lego sets to consider

I think you're speaking more to social inconsistency. Lego is just reflecting society's larger schizophrenia. LEGO® components satisfy strict industry standards to ensure they are consistent, compatible and connect and pull apart perfectly every time – it’s been that way since 1958. Just adopt an "anything goes" policy and finally release sets that are cool no matter the subject. I mean, you already had all kinds of out of the ordinary stuff, even minifig Nazis, so... "Spider-Man is in a battle with both Carnage and archenemy Venom, who is operating the monstrous Venom Crawler! Kids will need all their superhero powers to defeat this adversary! All LEGO® Marvel Spider-Man playsets are premium quality and designed to deliver maximum opportunities for imaginative, developmental play. The action and adventure are in kids’ hands when Spider-Man takes on both Carnage and archenemy Venom. The evil alien Symbiote is at the controls of the Venom Crawler – and has contaminated Iron Man to become Iron Venom! Well...think of it as a murderously psychotic helmet made of sentient, symbiotic space goop wrapped around his even more murderously, even more psychotic, human noggin. Then, of course, there's historical sets with extremely violent history like the Colosseum, but they won't make sets based on historical religious buildings . . . Which is certainly odd.

The Universal theme park in Orlando had a Halloween event one year called "Maximum Carnage" where the Marvel zone went super dark one night. All the heroes were "killed" and Carnage and other villains ran rampant in the park. This was considered too violent to repeat." Plenty of villains in DC Comics. They made version of Harley Quinn and the Joker, who are criminally insane and often commit heinous acts across the various mediums they're in. The character was created by David Michelinie and Mark Bagley. However, other creative teams have since used Carnage in their own works. Some of the villain’s most popular stories include Absolute Carnage and ‘Maximum Carnage’. He has also appeared in Venom: Let There Be Carnage as the primary antagonist, played by actor Woody Harrelson. Seriously, WTH happened to this company? They pull the Technic Osprey because it's a weapon of war, but are totally fine with this "thing"? I honestly don't understand their policy anymore.LEGO® construction toys meet the highest industry standards plus our own quality criteria, so they are consistent, compatible and connect and pull apart easily – no superpowers needed! It’s been that way since 1958. Carnage is usually a Spider-Man villain. Usually he is a symbiote that bonded to a serial killer named Cletus Cassidy, and basically is a MUCH more violent version of Venom. While Venom is often a villain, he also tends to have some anti-hero tendencies. Carnage on the other hand is completely violent and insane, wanting little more than to continue killing. He especially wants our favorite webslinger dead. I don't really have an issue with a set based off of Carnage, but it certainly does raise some interesting thoughts about Lego's rules for what they make sets off of.

Bring superhero adventures to life with the exciting range of LEGO® Marvel Avengers playsets. Kids can recreate favorite movie scenes, make up stories of their own or simply put their awesome models on display. Includes Spider-Man, Carnage and Ghost Rider minifigures. Ghost Rider’s robust, stylish car has a removable roof, removable flames and a 3-stud-shooter supercharger peeking out of its hood. The trio of classic Marvel characters, plus the amazing Ghost Rider car, provide kids with endless possibilities to build, play and display as they roleplay endless, imaginative superhero adventures. And I don't remember Punisher _ever_ having "Batman-level popularity". I don't think he's ever even been Top-5 just for Marvel, though he certainly does have a very loyal fandom.

Let kids control a unique superhero clash involving 3 iconic Marvel characters, with LEGO® Marvel Spider-Man: Spider-Man and Ghost Rider vs. Carnage (76173). For ages 7 and up. This stand-out set is a perfect gift idea for a young superhero’s birthday, holiday or special treat. Coinciding with the 2021 release of Venom: Let There Be Carnage, this is the ideal gift for LEGO collectors and fans of the Marvel Universe.
