This player helped bridge the gap between between the “pro” club player and the bedroom’s CDJ-100S. Though it was laid out in a similar manner to the 1000 and operated much the same way, the form factor was slightly different and it came in a silver finish. Unlike it’s big brother, it could only store a single cue point and loop at a time. In 1998, Pioneer introduced the first “bedroom model” of the CDJ lineup.
