About this deal

I really enjoyed the enveloping atmosphere throughout this novel. I truly felt alone and isolated in the snowy mountainside along with these characters. The mystery and suspense was consistent and engaging throughout. I questioned every characters’ intention at one point or another. Erin pretends to drink the tea and escapes on skis (since she can't walk/run). Liz follows. Erin travels down a difficult, hidden path, and Liz is killed trying to follow after her. Erin is soon rescued. The Lying Game (2017) revolves around four girls named Kate Atagon, Fatima Chaudhry (née Qureshy), Thea West, and Isa Wilde who attend a private boarding school called Salten House. At the school, they form a bond from a game of telling lies. The poor actions of the girls' boarding school days resurface years later when they receive a mysterious text from Kate asking them to return to the mill where they hung out as teenagers. The Death of Mrs Westaway (2018) is about Hal, a young tarot card reader, who receives a mysterious and large inheritance. When Hal attends the funeral of the deceased it becomes clear that she was not the intended recipient of the inheritance and that she has become involved in a dangerous mystery. [24]I like Ware’s writing, which I find serviceable, well-paced and unobtrusive, which is what I’m generally looking for in a mystery novel. And I found a lot of the plot interesting enough that I actually still had a good time reading it even despite the less-than-climactic reveal at the end. But, knowing the ending doesn’t have those fun twists and turns that mystery lovers tend to enjoy makes it a little harder for me recommend this book to others. I rarely have a problem remembering large casts of characters but, in this case, only the two protagonists, were well developed, so I HAD to distinguish the others by their role in SNOOP. Andreeva, Nellie (6 June 2023). "Ruth Ware's Novel 'Zero Days' Acquired By Universal International Studios For Series Development". Deadline . Retrieved 20 June 2023. After an avalanche leaves one member of the party missing, panic start to take hold as the group finds themselves isolated in the chalet on top of the mountain. Was it an accident? Did someone want her gone? Could somebody else be next in line?

I found this book to be an enjoyable read in a fabulous setting. A ski chalet, an avalanche, no electricity, thus no WIFI. They are really left to their own devices while trying to determine who amongst them is a killer. What should be a cozy and relaxing work getaway becomes a nightmare. Gonzalez, Vilma. [32] The always reliable Ruth Ware presents us with a houseful of secretive characters who have no internet connection or cell service and who all seem to be good candidates for an early demise. Also, one of them is a murderer." The killer of the book waves us to see him/ her, wearing a t-shirt emblazoned those words: “ I have a great body, it’s in my trunk”:

One by One brings a group of people together and then has them slowly start to die off. They’re all with a company that makes a music app which allows users to listen to the music that other people are listening to. And they’re in the middle of an increasingly contentious debate about whether to accept a buyout offer for the company. As a result, allegiances are being made and tested. When the avalanche hits, they learn that they are functionally stranded there, and they’re soon left without reception or power. Ruth Ware proves she’s the true heir to Wilkie Collins. Creepy, engrossing, and oh-so-hard to put down." Eva van den Berg: co-founder of Snoop and Topher’s ex-life partner, currently married to financier Arnaud Jankovitch, as well as the mother of Radisson
