Shantel Tessier’s novel “Grave,” tells the story of April and Grave. He had lost his mother in his teenage years, robbing him of the only woman he ever loved. This event had taken a huge toll on him as he was left to live with a heartless father. I was to wed a Lord of my parents’ choosing. Wealth can’t buy you everything, or I would have had freedom years ago. Instead, my strict parents made sure I lived a dull life in a mansion resembling a prison. Both of these dislikes though did not change my final rating, as everything else was so good, that those 2 minor things did not affect my overall thoughts on the book. This book will probably be a re-read every single year. I was definitely super excited to read Tyson’s story cause I had anticipated his story ever since the Ritual due to his mysterious, charismatic, and Exhibtionistic nature. In The Sacrifice, we find another side of Tyson where we explore his past and his relationship with the Lords, and we finally get a better understanding of it.

Blakely is clueless about the dark secret society inhabiting Barry University that she’s about to immerse herself in due to Ryat. She knows she shouldn’t since she’s dating someone, but that someone is a grade-a-hole to her, and I was all for her being Ryat’s chosen, especially after truths started to come out about her so-called boyfriend. This book has me legit questioning my sanity. We start off learning about the secret society that the mmc is a part of, “The Lords”. Then we learn about the college that this secret society pretty much owns, Barrington University, where all the rich kids end up as it is a private institution. Enter the fmc, Blakely, a rich girl who did not want to go to this university but was forced to by her parents. And in this world, as they are all “the elite”, arranged marriages are common and Blake is already promised to another and so is our mmc. But there are no contracts that are legally binding, so yeah. lol, from there, you can pretty much guess what happens. But it is a wild ride, that I was loving the entire time. I loved Tyson in the other books and was expecting more from him but this was so underwhelming. They never had time to bond or form attachment, everyone treated Lake worse than shit (which im noticing is common for all of shantel's fmcs). All her and Ty ever did was to have nasty sex and girlie's suddenly in luv??? Gurl he didn't even do the bare minimum.I am at an absolute loss for words about this book. I was so nervous to read it and I don’t know why I waited so long. Ryat is everything I want in a dark romance anti-hero. He is possessive and dominant but also controlling. I enjoyed how he soften for Blakely even when he was dominating her. She always had a voice and was always protected. He does some messed up manipulative things along the way that gave me pause but it was also really hot too. I loved every minute of their spice and I love how he loved her. It was so raw and unfiltered once they were both all in. This book may be unsuitable for people under 18 years of age due to its use of sexual content, drug and alcohol use, and/or violence. I’m gonna preface this by saying please do not come at me for this review. This is my personal opinion, and I respect any opinions that differ from mine. I also will not be going into extreme detail for respect for the author. I have loved all of Shantel’s previous works that I’ve read and will continue to read her books in the future. With that said, if you’d like to know more on my opinions, please dm me as I am not into author or book bashing. The members prize at the end of training IS, they get their ‘ chosen’ women to serve and obey them for one full last year of college.Every time i thought i had things figured out there was something else that comes to light which throws you for another loop and ruins everything you thought you knew.

In addition to all that, his relationship with his elder sibling began to deteriorate. These events left him feeling all alone and lost and hence he soon turned to fighting, alcohol, sex, and drugs to mask his pain. The author needs to stop making the villain for the heroine a woman related to her. Even when there are evil male figures, it’s always the female ones who are given the evil monologues or the nasty speeches. Also? I happened to notice all the bitchy females in this book all have bleached blonde hair?…What’s THAT about? She finds herself at the mercy of his father’s business partner George who has a proposition for Emilee. If she agrees to his proposal, he is ready to pay for his mother’s care.I have been hesitating to write a review for this book since it was the least of my favorite in the series, but Tyson’s book was my most anticipated read in the series. However, I am here to give an honest review in exchange for this ARC. Initially, I rated this as a 3, but I thought about it and narrowed it down to a 2. Please understand that we have different opinions, and please don’t be disheartened if mine is different. I respect if you love the book. I definitely respect how the book was written, and the characters came to be. This series gets better and better with each book. And it is entered into "reasons why Shantel Tessier is just top tier" One Christmas, while everyone was thinking of what resolutions they would make for the coming year, she already had something concrete in mind. Shantel convinced herself that she was going to become an author come what may. One day, I realized he was not who I thought he was. It didn’t change anything, though, because I was already too far gone. If anything, I fell for him harder. Having been playing the long game, Tyson puts his revenge plan into motion when he disrupts the wedding of his unsuspecting Little Darling.

The suspense, there was A LOT and I was constantly gasping and screaming and was on the edge of my seat the entire time. The suspense is definitely intense. As it turns out Matt is on the outs, all due to him messing up whike on assignment with Ryat were he unnecessarily caused the demise of a women they weren’t contracted to kill.Laikin doesn't want to marry him but Tyson doesn't give her a choice. Trapped in his cage but what will happen when secrets start to come out?
