In India, the culture of hand weaving is prominent. In 1974, Pavithra Muddaya and her mother, Chimy Nanjappa, established Vimor as a way to support themselves. What started as a necessity, slowly shifted into a continuation of the country’s heritage. «We slowly realized that it wasn’t only about us. But that we also had to encompass the weaver’s future and preserve our textile culture», explains Muddaya. There are two ways for hand weaving in India. The first is in regards to a rural setting. Where children are exposed to hand weaving from the time they are young: «It’s a home industry. It’s done in the home». It’s easy to look too far ahead in your enthusiasm. Enthusiasm is great, in fact, it’s essential, but don’t let it blind you. Start at the level you’re at and work your way up. If you choose something too difficult for your weaving level, you may be setting yourself up for frustration. Get off your high horse. There's a huge segment of the playerbase that doesn't LA weave. Within this research project, Tessitura La Colombina in Veneto falls under the realm of hand weaving. Eredi Colombo establishment

Of course you’ll need a loom to start weaving. If you already have a lap loom, then great! Any of my tutorials can work on any lap loom. If you’re having trouble understanding how to do something on your specific loom then feel free to reach out to me and I’ll help the best I can ( [email protected]). If you don’t yet have a loom, then no problem. I have two ways to make your own loom: The mechanical loom makes 800 strokes a minute, while an expert hand loom weaver makes thirty strokes a minute; about one every two seconds. However, hand looms enable inserts of tape, fabrics and ribbons, which is impossible with mechanical looms. La Colombina takes advantage of both, unafraid to adapt to modern advancements. «Few companies have an internal knowledge of 720 degrees like ours: 360 degrees on the world of hand weaving, and 360 degrees on the world of modern knitting machines». Innovations happening in the world of raw materials When it comes to the average person, they're usually incapable of judging their personal competence when it comes to tasks, such as weaving or not standing in fire. as an aside, I never did change my build and still managed to solo some normal dungeons, bum wrists and all. I play for fun. I use fun sets, not meta. If this game ever changes into something that prevents players like me from doing normal content unless we git gud, I'll leave, and I won't be alone.)This is the fun part of weaving! All the beauty and creativity go here, this is where you make your magic. I have posted on a bunch on weaving techniques and have already made a round-up of just the techniques here. There is no magic potion or secret ingredient to becoming a better weaver. It takes persistence, time and dedication.

What fascinated me about weaving was the combination of art and science», says Martin Weatherhead. «You’ve got the technology of the weaving process, and the artistic side of designing and making patterns». In 1975, Weatherhead and his wife established Snail Trail Handweavers in the rural countryside of Pembrokeshire, West Wales. After a few courses in London during the Seventies, they decided to move to the Welsh countryside to go into hand weaving full time. «in total bliss and ignorance as to what would be involved». Nowadays, this craft is practiced a lot on an amateur level. With only twelve professional hand weavers currently active in Wales. Everyone's damage WILL be going down, its just that its more likely to affect proficient LA weavers rather than poor LA weavers since proficient LA weavers would have more of their overall DPS coming from LA's California-based Jen Keane is pioneering a technique she calls"microbial weaving" to incorporate microorganisms such as bacteria and yeast into her textiles. Her aim is to create natural alternatives to high-performance synthetic fabrics.
