About this deal

That is the maximum amount that could be achieved in the manufacturing process and still be within certain "Anti Allergens Standards". Projection: 10/10. It's very wide, you're perceived. Even the end still projects strongly what I think is great. The beginning symbolizes for me a roaring mighty being that fends off all evil within the scent cloud that protects you in the spiritual. But also this phase shows itself in the chaos of today. Hence the protection in chaos. When I smelled that one for the first time, I got annoyed by the oreganoand after almost 1 to 2 hours it became nicer and a very addictive smoky scent. However, it is as niche, as niche is concerned and it takes time for an untrained "nose" to like it, if ever. Well, how do you start a commentary on a frequently commented, well-known and controversially rated fragrance? Does it need my comment at all? Doesn't everybody already know how Interlude Man smells?

My first impression was completely revised - this is an incredibly full, rich (in choice ingredients) and beautiful fragrance. It is very unique and polarizing - you either love it or hate it. I for one loved this scent more and more the more I wore it and couldn't get enough of that "sacred" aura - the incense and precious resins had me spellbound like a genie out of a bottle. Depending on the temperature outside, I keep smelling small, subtle differences in the scent on my skin. Also, the statement that this is a winter fragrance, I can not share (more). Except for sports, this fragrance always goes, as long as you dare to wear it with pride and joy. The dose makes the poison :-) The balsamic tones amplified and added more resinous sweetness along with sweet, smoky incense that started to hide the leather after 15 minutes of development. Amongst the leather, there was still a sense of drier woods. An hour in, Interlude Man was deeply resinous, full of aromatic woods, and smoky incense.

This fragrance creation becomes a little more civilized at the end with patchouli, another light spot in the fragrance, and sandalwood. I still love sandalwood very much! Interlude Man" opens with herbaceous oregano, a nice spicy pimento; both cover the almost regularly present bergamot in the most interesting way. She is felt, constantly present! Together with Jubilation XXV, Journey Man and Reflection Man my absolute favorite fragrance - but certainly the most unique and mystical seeming - you read it out, I'm in love with "The Blue Beast from the Middle East" and recommend it to anyone who is brave enough to be enchanted by him by wearing it a few times. With such thoughts one learns to be able to decide emotionally what applies to one and what does not. In a serene atmosphere combining modern architecture with local accents, evoking the quietude of hallowed mosques and whispering wadis, guests foreign and locals are invited on a tour highlighting key moments of our artistic history and treasures from our vaults that have never been exposed before as well as temporary exhibitions specially curated for this space.

Oud must not be missing from this fragrance development: it has to be. A certain animalistic "nuisance" belongs to "Interlude Man"! It opened with bright, zesty bergamot and earthy, minty oregano with soft wafts of amber and incense that created an opulent, spicy and aromatic beginning. Rich, golden amber, frankincense, and resinous opoponax joined swiftly while the bergamot receded and the oregano gave a sense of coolness to the scent. There was an impression of dustiness, dry and a little stale, that later morphed into dry leather and smoke. It was aromatic, spiced, and woody with leathery undertones. And with all the corners and edges and spines, these rough-and-ready fellows are often closer to me than the lovely flower basket! Of course you have to keep in mind: if you do not like intensive resin scents, you are completely wrong here. The scent is loud, intense and demanding. For lovers of such fragrances this is a single pleasure, for others too much. In fact the scent is not perceived by the environment as an intensive "smoke bomb" but as a fragrant scent with various associations ranging from Christmas market to anywhere else. On the contrary, the fragrance is almost sweet and I detect hints of ripe fruit like apples reduced to a jammy, pureed, cooked and made to reduce for hours on a wood fire. Anyway my perception discovers the first minutes a sweet smoky slightly fresh note which is not hiding but literally jumps out of all corners and edges and roars: HERE I AM, I AM ABOUT EUCH.

Interlude is worth its money for me because of its small nuances, its more detailed elaboration if you like to wear such fragrances often and with pleasure. If you only find the fragrance exciting, if you only decide to use it every few months, you are better off with Midnight Oud as a 95% copy, at least in monetary terms. Amouage is a label that offers variety and is successful with several extremes. I would say that whoever likes Journey Man also likes Interlude. Conversely, due to the sharpness of Journey Man, this is not certain, because the allspice is there but not very sharp. Take dried oregano, almost with a texture of leaves in the fall, crinkly, crunchy. That's the type of 'green' you get in the open, it's not overpowering, it's not a refreshing green like Green Irish Tweed or any other freshie. This is a dry, 'crunchy' oregano green. It's perfectly blended with spice. That sharp burning tire opening I get with regular Interlude Man is nonexistent here. Massive projection for the first 2 hours. It lasted for eight hours until it was a skin-scent and about 12 hours before it was quite difficult to detect on my skin. The sillage was moderate for the first hour, while the projection was moderate for two hours before both were closer to the body/skin. Personal ThoughtsOregano and allspice create a fabulous beginning. First smoky puffs are also noticeable and in the midst of this explosion I can also detect a tangy, hesperidic freshness. In the further development we dive into the warm and deep soul - balsamic and resinous impressions join and also the smoke has already fully spread. I like it, I'm comfortable with it, despite my young age. Therefore, never categorize a perfume by age. I was allowed to learn to wear a perfume that I like and obs others might like is irrelevant. Interlude 53 is in my eyes a successful experiment and as an Amouage / Interlude lover, it is definitely worth a test - a bottle, however, not if you already own an Interlude.

Here not as resin - Labdanum - but in its original form: crumpled leaves and flowers and slightly herbaceous wood! (Very welcome to me in winter as tea and pastilles; the oil is a blessing for the winterly afflicted facial skin!) Whoever nevertheless dares to taste this resinous-woody smoke bomb should be warned that it is not for the faint of heart. This one is a challenge. He will not be forgotten. For testing, I used 1/3 of a 0.7ml sample vial dabbed to the underside and topside of my wrist area on my left arm. I used an unscented moisturizer prior to applying the scent as this is also my swatching arm (aka, incredibly parched at any given moment) as I found scent did not hold well here otherwise. In addition, the maturation processes Maturation and maceration "played" and the entire process ultimately extended to about 6 months. Most fragrances probably mature only a few weeks. Usually, a higher perfume oil concentration means an increased performance of the fragrance (particularly longer-lasting scent), but the impact of oil concentration is much more complex and varies depending on each formula.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when Once you finally get it off, it's like a kind of resurrection. You had to die the perfume death first, and then - freed from the smoky heaviness - start again into perfume happiness. Knowing that you have now conquered all the horrors of the fragrance world. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that this year for me consists of a lot of interludes: many who fortunately made their way out of the dust; and some who I'm sorry for!
