About this deal

Aluminium Chlorohydrate (ACH) and Aluminium Chloride (AC) act on the eccrine and apocrine sweat glands by partially and reversibly clogging the duct of the sweat gland thus reducing the amount of sweat that’s produced. Because there’s less sweat, there’s less dampness and noticeably less odor. In the middle of the 1950s, the company invented a product containing dexpanthenol and a pH5 citrate buffer. This compound effectively protected the dermis from the harmful effects of the environment, moisturising the cells and giving them the necessary elasticity. The trademark's history began when Beiersdorf's owner Oskar Trollowitz bought the patent for a unique base from the chemist Isaak Lifshutz at the beginning of the 20th century. It was called eucerite and enabled creams and emulsions to be produced on an industrial scale ever since incorporated into all Eucerin goods. Creams: Harder to apply, only need a small amount, product goes further, often contain more skin-soothing ingredients It relies on aluminum zirconium tetrachlorohydrex GLY to minimize moisture; even after we went through a day of a brisk workout, sweaty commute, and strength training, our underarms still felt dry and almost entirely odor free.

With over 100 years of experience in science-led skincare and support from both pharmacists and dermatologists to treat conditions including dry skin, sensitive skin and ageing skin. With a wide assortment that includes face masks, face washes, cleansers, serums and body lotions to name a few, Eucerin is one of the world’s most trusted dermatological brands. The cosmetics brand Eucerin has a long history and is widely known worldwide for making quality products. The German company is part of Beiersdorf, Germany's largest beauty goods manufacturer, and creates pharmaceuticals for skin and body care, as well as a hair treatment. The brand is also deeply involved in research, cares about the environment, and does not test its wares on animals. Eucerin – innovative and time-tested ingredients Secret Stress Response: This antiperspirant did its job of minimizing moisture, but we found it to have a surprising floral scent even though it's not labeled as unscented, and it left a white residue on clothing. With aluminum chlorohydrate as the active ingredient, this spray keeps your underarms dry and smelling clean for about 24 hours (however, by the 24-hour mark, we did notice some natural body odor was peaking through). It contains 0% alcohol so it doesn’t burn when applied or cause skin irritation, and the formula contains nurturing oils to help keep your skin hydrated and smooth.and below: We don't recommend clinical strength deodorants with this rating; you won't find any on our list. Additionally, Glossier offers a scented option that matches their super popular Glossier You perfume, so if that's your fragrance, we do believe that the price is more worth it for the scented version than the unscented version. So, what are the benefits for your underarm skin? The water-based formula with glycerin works to restore your skin to its best condition. Thanks to hydrating glycerin, moisturizing underarms is easy and your skin will feel hydrated and cared for. This easy-to-apply, smooth glide antiperspirant deodorant gives up to 48-hour protection against sweat and odor. Our most caring antiperspirant deodorant range keeps you protected from the moment you apply. Make sure you follow the directions for application—you’re to dab your underarm with the towelette, not rub, which can cause irritation. But they really do minimize sweat altogether, and really do last. We noted that they were powerful enough to minimize sweat altogether (although we only tested them for 24 hours, so we can’t confirm the brand’s claim that they will work for a full 7 days on one application). In our experience, it also wasn’t irritating to the skin (that’s probably thanks to the skin-soothing vitamin B5 included in the formula). Many products on the market are a combination of both antiperspirants and deodorants. But it’s important to understand the difference between the two so you can understand how to fix your concerns, whether they’re excessive sweating or bad body odor. Here’s the breakdown:Dermatologist Mary Stevenson, MD, with NYU Langone Health in New York City anda member of the Women’s Dermatologic Society (WDS) First things first, why do we use water-based ingredients in our Ultimate range? It’s simple really. The water base has allowed us to use glycerin in an antiperspirant for the first time. In case you didn’t know, glycerin is a hardworking, hydrating and water-soluble skin care ingredient, and it helps us provide our best level of skin care in an antiperspirant deodorant. Our Ultimate formula also includes 6x the humectant moisturizers (compared to our core ranges), which are clinically proven to provide skin moisturization that lasts longer vs. regular deodorants. Plus, the effective skin care ingredients in this antiperspirant deodorant protect against dryness, help soothe irritation, and strengthen skin’s barrier by boosting ceramide levels.

As the AC molecules are smaller and have a lower pH value than the ACH molecules they can penetrate deeper into the sweat ducts, keeping them closed for longer. Even small quantities of anti-perspirant can make a big difference to the amount of sweat you produce. If you are in any doubt if a product is suitable for your skin, consult your pharmacist or dermatologist/doctor who will be happy to give advice. And, while the fragrance from the spray smelled good on-body (light and fresh), the scent did linger in the room for hours after application, which might bother some people. Degree Men Clinical Strength Deodorant Antiperspirant Sport for Profuse Sweating: This deodorant did its job of minimizing moisture, masking odor, and not transferring to any clothing. It didn’t win best of any categories, but overall we liked it.

There are two antiperspirants, known as anti-transpirants, in the Eucerin range. Both have been tested on, and proven to be compatible with sensitive skin but it’s important that you consider the ingredients list is you are prone to deodorant allergy or intolerance. The chemists have been working on the formulation for years to present no palm oil. Instead, the chemists and dermatologists at the TM use surfactants or emulsions derived from vegetable oils or mineral compounds.
