About this deal

Intel SME Study Disclaimer: Based on a 2018 survey of small business owners in five countries. Details here intel.com.au/smestudy Dell Command updates monitor your system to ensure it is always up-to-date with the latest BIOS, drivers and firmware. Dell Optimizer software is a beautiful tool that analyzes your system in real-time and alerts you to anything that needs tweaking. Last, but certainly not least, is my favorite piece of Dell software: Dell Power Manager not only optimizes battery usage but gives the user fine control of how your battery is used. While all of the changes that Dell made on this generation seem small, they're meaningful changes. I love that there are charging ports on either side for convenience, and of course, the FHD webcam is a must in 2021. Seriously, the amount of companies that have ignored that just baffles me. On the right side, you'll find a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port for 5Gbps speeds, an HDMI 2.0 port that supports 4K output, a microSD slot, a SIM slot that's filled with a slug if you get the cellular model, and a second Thunderbolt 4 port.

The section below provides links to articles that contain information about the different hardware on your system. They can help you to troubleshoot any problems that might be identified by the above diagnostics. There are also general "How to" articles that can help with tasks, for example like updating the BIOS or upgrading a hard drive. AC Adapter and Battery Dell tends to have a minimalist approach to bloatware when it comes to its business laptops. However, the company preloaded the Latitude 7320 with an array of proprietary software to help ensure you get the most out of your laptop. The Dell Latitude 7320’s display is, as you might guess, extremely practical. It’s a 13.3-inch Full HD IPS LCD screen with a matte finish, scattering reflections for easier use in bright environments. The Dell Latitude 7320 is a cool customer day or night. During our heat test (15 minutes of playing a fullscreen HD video), the touchpad and the center of the keyboard measured 88 degrees Fahrenheit. The laptop’s undercarriage reached 93 degrees, which is below our 95-degree comfort threshold. Dell Latitude 7320 webcam The Dell Latitude 7320 also has a smart card reader on its left side, for easy secure logins. Features such as vPro and smart card are either going to be indispensable or unnecessary, depending on the kind of business you run or work at. There isn’t much middle-ground here.

Operating System

Jump into work: Power on by opening the lid, then stay synced thanks to Modern Standby capability. Log in instantly with ExpressSign-in proximity sensor or optional fingerprint reader in the power button.

The Latitude 7320 uses a USB-C port to charge, and comes with a 65W charger. This is handy, since it lets you use any USB-PD charger, not just one designed for this particular laptop. The Dell Latitude 7320’s touchpad isn’t on the same level as the keyboard. For one, it has a plastic surface rather than a textured glass one. A laptop of this price shouldn’t come with a plastic touchpad, even if it does feel quite similar to glass on first touch. I didn’t find the screen immediately impressive, though. This is was down to the only passable contrast, and the fact that matte screens tend to look slightly less appealing than glossy ones. Like I said, I really do like the design of this laptop, particularly just the shape and size of it. Display and audio Work wherever: The Latitude 7320 Detachable features an incredible display with both the leading Corning ® Gorilla ® Glass 6 DX. This provides better scratch resistance and improves readability in sunlight by reducing reflections and optimizing contrast while keeping the same brightness settings, which can improve battery life.

The Dell Latitude 7320 2-in-1 is a perky performer and a stylish travel partner

The Dell Latitude 7320 Detachable uses something called Intel Smart Sound Technology for MIPI SoundWire audio, rather than the more common audio-enhancement algorithms. The result, however, sounds more than presentable, with a well-mixed blend of midrange to high-end audio from the speakers mounted behind the tablet’s surface. Unsurprisingly for a tablet, the low-end bass is a half-hearted effort. The overall volume could be a touch louder, too. Really, though, the Latitude’s audio is about as good as you can expect to get from a tablet PC. Small and sophisticated: The Latitude 7320 Detachable is one of the lightest and smallest, and lets you stay productive anywhere, while still meeting the rigorous MIL-STD durability benchmarks you’d expect from a Latitude. The Dell Latitude 7320 uses the top-end Intel Core i7 CPU in Intel’s Tiger Lake 11th Generation lineup, the Core i7-1185G7. My biggest complaint is that it doesn't have a 4K option again. This is something that's competing with the EliteBook 800 and ThinkPad T-series of the world, just like the Latitude 9000 should be competing with EliteBook 1000 and ThinkPad X1. A 4K option would be nice. Estimated valueis Dell’s estimate of product value based on industry data, including the prices at which third-party retailers have offered or valued the same or comparable products, in its most recent survey of major online and/or off-line retailers. Third-party retailer data may not be based on actual sales.

I really want to commend Dell for putting Thunderbolt 4 ports on each side, and that's actually one thing that did change in the chassis since last year. So few OEMs do it, but it really makes life easier when you can charge your laptop from either side. It's really rare in the Windows world.Terms Apply. Promotion ends 3 December 2023. I've appeared on CBS News, in USA Today, and at many other outlets to offer analysis on breaking technology news. The Dell Latitude 7320 isn’t a show-off, and it actually looks like a business laptop. Its real-world appeal is far wider than that niche label suggests, however. What I really love about the Latitude 7320 is just how light and small it is. Being a 13-inch laptop and having small bezels, it has such a small footprint that it's just so easy to carry. When I reviewed the Latitude 7310 last year, I described it as the perfect laptop for around the house. If I had to get work done on the couch, this would be the first machine I'd grab because it just feels so comfortable to carry, and it's a laptop that feels good on a lap. The Dell Latitude 7320 Detachable’s webcam has one big thing going for it: the user-facing webcam offers 1080p/30Hz resolution, on a par with the small number of standalone 1080p webcams that offer Windows Hello biometric login capabilities. (720p remains the most common webcam resolution.) Otherwise, the webcam doesn’t offer anything special in terms of its white balance or color accuracy. There’s no physical camera shutter, nor is there a button to disable the webcam on the keyboard. Though some persist in taking photos with Apple iPads and other tablets, the rear camera is probably best used to snap shots of documents and import them into Word or other productivity tools. Here, the ThinkPad X12 Detachable and Surface Pro 7+ actually managed to perform slightly better than the Latitude 7320 Detachable, despite their Core i5 CPUs. The real-world difference isn't noticeable, however.

Highlights include a great keyboard, long battery life, low weight, diverse connections and a small footprint. The Dell Latitude 7320 comes with a 1-year warranty. See how Dell fared during Tech Support Showdown and Best and Worst Brands, our annual special reports. Bottom line
