About this deal

A great blend in my opinion! I blind-bought this in search for a coconut that's not too cloying and would hence work in the summer heat. I think this is a great find for that description. The coconut is noticeable for sure but there are balancing elements like bergamot, musk and the salty sea note that make this an interesting and wearable coconut for adult taste. Love it, super happy. BUTTERY TIARE with Sweet, Marine COCONUT. Opens with a burst of coconut-bergamot, that deepens into a floral heart of tiare with sweet, coconut, buttery, salty & marine nuances, all resting on a creamy, musky vanilla-wood base. Overall I get a sweet, buttery tiare-coconut scent that deepens into near-honey with salty marine touches. I think it’s light enough to be an all season scent, but i suspect that the cream can get a bit nauseating on the hottest days of summer. I feel like it’s best suited for spring, due to its lightness, but can be a very comforting scent in winter too. I personally prefer more melancholic, moody and stormy or mossy fragrances in fall. As the dry down progressed I could sort of see how to some people it may come off beachy and a sunscreen like, but it was a predominant scented candle amalgamation for the entire 4 hours I wore it, and I ended up having to wash it off. An absolute contender for best summer fragrance in my collection - and I have well over a hundred perfumes.

I love coconut, vanilla and sandalwood in fragrances and in here all three notes are done to perfection. The coconut stays throughout the wear, which I love, and I don't find the tiare flower and ylang-ylang overpowering. The sea note balances all other notes really well. This is very beautiful. Compared to other mancera fragrances it’s very light, but i don’t mind that at all. This is an atypically light scent for mancera, so don’t go for this if you’re looking for a strong, beast mode fragrance. It does have decent silage, whilst feeling more like a skin scent, due to its light and delicate character and transparency. I absolutely adore it! It’s very wearable without ever being boring.I love this fragrance, and am so glad I found it. If you’re on the hunt for your tropical, luxury suntan lotion, Summer vacation in a bottle like I was; look no further than Mancera Holidays. Highly recommended. Holidays is a casual scent. I would assume someone who smells like this would be easy to get along with and doesn't take life too seriously. It is unisex, but I think a woman could pull it off in more situations than a man -- as it leans a tiny bit feminine. I would enjoy smelling this on a man that I knew well, but probably not on a man I'm meeting for the first time -- not sure why, but that's how I feel, haha. Normally in summer I avoid sweet scents during day but this perfume gives a beach sun tan lotion pina colada drink vibe without being cloying. I would not overspray this perfume or it would be overwhelming in the heat. I plan to use this layered with other scents.

This perfume is all about creaminess, in all its stages, most likely from the combination of White Musk, Tiare Flower, and Coconut. Speaking about coconut, it’s important to mention that the note here doesn’t smell like the usual coconut sunscreen accord, it’s rather like if a very soft, airy and creamy coconut water aura enveloped the fragrance. I was with a friend while I wore it and I also asked him what he thought, and on first whiff all he said was "I don't like that" and immediately agreed with my description of scented candles. Overall I like this perfume. It isn't my favorite, it isn't unique or groundbreaking, but it performs pretty well, much better than a lot of sad 2hr fragrances I've parted ways with. It makes me think of eating vanilla bean ice cream or whipped cream in a Hawaiian garden. Tropical, soft, sweet and comfortable, while being pretty. Not a super unique niche fragrance, not a cheap body spray. Warm and cozy, like wrapping a comfy blanket around yourself, but for summer, when it's too hot for a blanket. If you dislike tiare I would not recommend this as it is the dominant floral. If you hate vanilla, I wouldn't recommend this either as even though it's subtle, the vanilla is dominant enough to notice it. I do not notice most of the other notes. I'm sure they are there, I can somewhat "sense" them, but I can't exactly say I "smell" them. I'm not sure I'm getting the same powerhouse performance other reviewers mentioned where they were able to still smell it after swimming, but it does perform for a good 5-6 hrs, then it dries down and lasts a few more hours as a subtle skin scent. As for now, I think this is my fav summer tiare scent. I prefer tuberose but it doesn't last on my skin very long. Holidays is a calming, simple scent that grows on you. On first sniff, it does smell a bit like a basic air freshener, but throughout the day, it transforms into a warm, smooth, sweet delight. It reminds me of lazy summer afternoons at the beach. Tiare flower and vanilla are the most prominent notes; I barely detect coconut. I don't notice the sea notes on clothes, but the dry down on the skin is definitely a "salt left on the skin after a swim in the ocean" vibe. The fragrance is a bit simple, but for its qualities does one thing well; project a strong sense of femininity. It's not especially bad in any way, but if anything I think it should have been a more complex (or at least unique) version of its contemporary coming from a "higher-end" house such as Mancera.SIMILAR: These are examples of fragrances in the same genre. Mancera Aoud Orchid is a great, mild, very sweet, coconut, peach, and orchid fragrance; Mancera Instant Crush is a fascinating woody, amber, citrus, and vanilla scent; Mancera Jardin Exclusif EDP is a great, fruity, powdery, sweet, and musky fragrance; Mancera Sicily is fantastic, very powdery, citrus, fruity, and floral but slightly tilted to the feminine side; Mancera Wild Cherry is a great, intense, fruity, cherry, floral, vanilla, and sweet fragrance; Mancera Holidays EDP is a great, delicious, sweet, vanilla, coconut, floral-fruity, ylang-ylang, tiara flower, and white musk fragrance.
