Where the holiday falls between two price panels, the panel with the majority of nights of the holiday will be used to calculate the holiday costs. In spring and summer, the grassland is dotted with orchids and other flowering plants and buzzing with bumblebees. Birdwatchers worth their salt will know the Northumberland coastline as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a prime location to see seabirds, waders, wildfowl and other fluttery creatures. Holy Island is a top spot for wildlife watching – the island and its mudflats make up the Lindisfarne National Nature Reserve – but most naturalists in these parts take their binoculars to the Farne Islands, the strikingly scenic home of puffins, terns, rabbits and several thousand grey seals (go Farnewards from November to December for the mighty experience of watching them pup). All prices include VAT at the standard rate operating at the time and are subject to change if the rate or application of VAT changes and in the event of a change in the VAT during the course of the year, you will be invoiced at the new amount of VAT unless you have already taken your holiday or paid the balance in full prior to the date of change
