My intended application for the speaker is use as an EDrum amplifier. For this purpose it works well. The bass, however, is thunderous. By using 4 overlapping bands of parametric eq, I was able to reduce the low end to a reasonable level. It still sounds enormous. Overall, I enjoy this speaker.
