My daughter had gravitated to Shadow Orb Scorpius who started as a light purple colour. She struggled slightly more to crush the red core than my son but once she managed it she was delighted to see Scorpius turn a darker purple. Under the stretchy character's chest is a core (capsule) that when crushed changes the goo that flows within the toy's body to "Power them up" and make their goo glow! Not only did they change Scorpio’s look but also gave him a new feel. To say my daughter was excited when she noticed this would be an understatement.
