Step 1: Rinse the cap, tube and bottle using running water. Fill the bottle with distilled, micro-filtered (through 0.2 micron), reverse osmosis filtered, commercially bottled or previously boiled and cooled down water at lukewarm or body temperature. Disassemble all components. Wash with warm soapy water. Shake off excess water. To disinfect, choose one of three methods:

Keep drops in ear for 10 minutes by keeping head tilted or placing enclosed ear plugs in ears. It is normal to feel warmth in inner ear. Breathe out through your mouth. Use nasal saline daily. If the nose feels dry, try to use it every couple of hours. Be careful not to use any sprays containing decongestants. Microwave Disinfection: Clean the device with soap and water, shake off the excess water. Now place the aspirator in the microwave for 45 seconds.
