About this deal

The noise generated remains and the flavour production is definitely more dense on this setting, choosing to bring out more of the cream notes than before. ElementVape.com and any or all of ElementVape.com’s parent and subsidiary companies will not be held responsible or liable for any injury, damage, or defect, permanent or temporary that may be caused by the improper use of a Li-ion (Lithium-ion), LiPo (Lithium-ion Polymer) and any rechargeable battery/batteries as well as chargers. Please have a greater understanding of the batteries/chargers you are using and how to care for them properly. Bearing in mind that single coil tanks were still finding their feet this was a massive and highly significant moment for the vaping landscape.

I began with the pre-installed TFV18 Meshed 0.33ohm which was rated as ‘BEST AT 100-110 Watts’ but it’s best to break in a new coil at lower wattage.I started at 70 watts and worked my way up to the 110 watts after 10 or so puffs. The vape you get from this coil is a proper cloud lobbing DL airy draw. The flavour is decent but not outstanding, but this coil does favour clouds over flavour, I soon got bored of fogging the street up so it was time to swap over to my favoured coil.

Customer Reviews

I think the single mesh coil gave me just that added bit of authenticity when it came to flavour reproduction. As an added bonus, nothing was lost even with the most airy of vapes and that really impressed me. While using the included coils I found my sweet spot at 80W with around a 25% airflow restriction. Very nice indeed! The meshed coil spreads the heat over a wider area on the cotton for an even burn, providing excellent clouds and beautiful flavour.

The V18 Dual Mesh 0.15 Ohm which is rated between 80 to 140 Watts (140!!!) and ‘BEST AT 100-110 Watts’, again I started low and built up to 110 watts. This was more like it, the flavour came through much better and it was a warmer vape.It was just more satisfying overall.Vapour production was still very high, in fact I didn’t really notice it being any less than the 0.33 Ohm coil. On the underside of the top cap is a large silicone gasket or seal to help stop any potential leakage. Shop the SMOK TFV18 Sub-Ohm Tank, featuring a 7.5mL capacity, utilizes native TFV18 Coils, and compatibility with the TFV16 Mesh Coil Series. Constructed from durable stainless steel, the TFV18 Tank offers a impact resistant chassis. Holding up to 7.5mL of eJuice within the bubble glass, the SMOK TFV18 Tank can be filled with your favorite eJuice. Offering fully-closeable dual slotted bottom airflow intakes, the TFV18 Sub-Ohm Tank can facilitate both MTL or DL vaping. Utilizing the native TFV18 Coils, the SMOK TFV18 Tank can also utilize the TFV16 Mesh Coils as well.

Final Review Verdict

Of course we’ve been here many times before with the tank design not to mention large coils, it all does feel very familiar. The signatory top slide fill mechanism remains in place and there’s little doubt these coils are going to guzzle e-liquid like it’s going out of fashion. Once the height of both coils is to satisfaction, tighten the grub screws ensuring an adequate “bite” on the coil legs but not so much that the screws gets stripped in the process. Tips for new nicotine users: Sub-ohm or low resistance atomizers produce a higher throat hit than standard, high resistance atomizers. We strongly suggest 3 to 6mg eLiquid or lower with sub-ohm or low resistance atomizer heads. Preference may vary depending on the user and frequency of use. I still get the same level of noise generated during inhale and in all honesty I’m not quite getting the same level of vapour production as that of the single mesh coil.
