About this deal

Welcome to Fantasy Friends, a world of magic and fantasy where you're responsible for taking care of fantastic creatures! Once again, we’ll set out to make some new friends, this time in a vibrant, coral-filled environment. Our guide is Aurea, the mermaid, but those familiar with the first game will know their way around the controls, giving birth to the animals (all from Easter eggs), naming them, feeding them, dressing them up, and of course, playing with them too. Oh, and hygiene. That’s super important. Fantasy Friends Under The SeaSwitch Review Explore the plaza, add decorations, get new magical sea creatures, buy them new clothes or even cooler toys to play with, and decorate the plaza with incredible fun items! Don’t judge me: this Fantasy FriendsSwitch review is based on the observations of my children, as that’s who this game was intended for. It doesn’t appeal to me at all, but for the intended market, it’s been a winner.

Whilst we will do everything we can to meet the delivery times above, there may be factors outside of our control and we cannot guarantee delivery within this time frame. Immediately after hatching, the little critters in Fantasy Friends Under The Seaneed to eat – initially a baby bottle until they evolve, a wash (under the sea) and then some love. You can say what you like, but they can’t hear you, so you have to show your love by petting, then entertaining them with one of the many mini-games. Fantasy Friends is your typical virtual pet game that felt like a cheap version of Nintendogs or Talking Tom Cat minus the talking and the fun features. Players have to feed, wash, and play with their furry friends. There are 12 different animals you can collect as well as different skins and accessories. Players can also decorate their forest, though there isn’t really anything else to do in the forest. Fantasy Friends takes place in a gorgeous fantasy forest where anything is possible, or at least that’s what they promise… With the help of Aurea, the magic fairy, you will care for twelve adorable new pet friends! Take care of them and make sure you give them all the love they need. If you do, your pets will grow up and play with you! Little digits will need to stroke the on-screen eggs for them to hatch, revealing a pet. The first one, which I’m assuming is across the board for all players and not random, was a kitten. An easy option as kids will either like kittens or puppies. The whole setting reminded me of Viva Pinata under the Sea like they released this game in the Little Mermaid universe or something. While the first one felt like an abomination from hell, the second one feels a bit more polished. The whole sea theme is well done and the waiting times I hated in the first entry are shortened (which makes the game more paced). From a cute dogfish to a surprising axolotl, discover 12 incredible aquatic creatures you will love to cuddle and play with. Each animal needs a specific food you will have to produce. It’s essentially a Tamagotchi-type game which would work equally well on mobile too with its touch-like commands. The purpose of the game is to build a world of pets/friends, with ice cream trees and glittering streams – it’s everything a little girl could want, and more so that I could return to Bloodborne. Again. Fantasy FriendsSwitch Review I reviewed Fantasy Friends earlier this year, so I will focus on the similarities between the two games and which one stands on top. Gameplay: Random magical events can happen at any time underwater! Keep an eye out for what's going on around you!

First up, the reviewer of this title from Xaloc Studiosand Just For Games, is predominantly my three year old, but she left the writing to me. Sitting on my lap while I occasionally helped with the analogue controls, she’s been switching between this and Astro’s Playroomfor about a week now and loves it. A magical fairy named Aurea guides the player throughout the game. The only problem is Aurea speaks in Animalese like the animals in the Animal Crossingseries. It’s very cute, but if this game is aimed at young children, the dialogue should be simplified, or Aurea should have an actual voice to help young children. Also, the font isn’t very kid-friendly either. I would expect the font to be larger and more appealing, like something from the LeapFroggames. Ever keen to take new talent under my wing, my daughter (the same one from the first Fantasy Friendsreview) was the chief appraiser of the game but didn’t (couldn’t) want to write a review. Once again, I make no hesitation in saying this was solely for my her, still four, and that’s the market you should be looking at. Unless you genuinely want Sebastian as your bestie. You’re able to create a new home for this fantasy friend, but first, you need to name them. Her first friend was Candy, and initially, you can feed, pet and groom the animal, paying attention to the gauges on-screen that with the pet’s status, i.e. whether they’re hungry or bored, etc.

About The Game

Decorate the forest in your own style with beautiful buildings, plants, and magical objects! Some of them may suprise you. Fantasy Friends Under The Seais quite slow-moving, but that’s due to the type of player that will lap this up. There are no game overs or storylines – simply take care of your new found friends and ensure they’re content. As I said for the first game, this teaches children how to be consistent and take responsibility – yes, yes, it’s a game, but the fundamental parts are encouraging, and I saw a difference with her attention to our dog when she played the first game.
