For years, I have owned Samsung Tablets and phones and love the quality and features. This is my favorite Samsung tablet yet! So far I have had a truly WOW experience using this tablet as it has exceeded my expectations! Below are the Pros and the Cons of this tablet...In late July, 2015, the tablet updated to Lollipop and it saves me battery, love this update. Since I have done a few tweaks on this tablet, now I have found that my battery life is better than the first and even the second day. In fact, the battery life now I find that when I use WiFi just when I need it, I now get about 7 to 8 hours with it(this reflects 100 percent brightness however). it loses a few points for having a glossy screen, which tends to reflect unwanted light, hence matte finish screens are generally better.

My true star rating is 4.6 stars as I find that this tablet, for the most part, has exceeded my expectations. Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 was released with Android 4.4.2 KitKat. Samsung customized the interface with its TouchWiz UX software. Some devices only run up to Android 5.0.2 as opposed to the 5.1.1 version. It also has apps from Google, including Google Play, Gmail and YouTube, it has access to Samsung apps such as ChatON, S Suggest, S Voice, S Translator, S Planner, Smart Remote (Peel)(WiFi Version Only), Smart Stay, Multi-Window, Group Play, and All Share Play. but that is a minor annoyance. I have added apps from google play and they work fine, even old ones that are themselves outdated apparently. So I assume in its previous life it did have a cell phone circuit and was on ATT somehow. That part is irrelevant; I used the local apps and frequently connect it to wi-fi signals at home and lots of other places. never had a problem with it. I have had this slate for long enough I am not even sure how much I paid for it, but bought it used Speed of this unit / Memory etc - This tablet has adequate memory and I found it enough to keep the tablet running at a good speed. And I found that the tablet runs plenty fast with no lagging.that violates any law, statute, ordinance or regulation (including, but not limited to, those governing export control, consumer protection, unfair competition, anti-discrimination or false advertising); The only issue is that the version of android is aging and there does not appear to be an update for it.
Brightness of the screen: I compared this with my older ASUS MeMopad and found that this screen is MUCH BRIGHTER! (I like a bright and vivid screen and this tablet has just what I was searching for in a screen). One of the main characteristics of the display is its type/technology, on which depends its performance. The display resolution shows the number of pixels on the horizontal and vertical side of the screen. The higher the resolution is, the greater the detail of the displayed content. If it runs out of battery, you just recharge it thru micro-USB and it reboots. If profoundly discharged, you do not even get a "charge" indicator from the boot ROMs until reaching about 3 percent. otherwise no harm done. use of the content you supply does not violate these Terms of Use and will not cause injury to any person or entity.
