About this deal

The Ergobaby Evolve High chair is designed to literally “evolve” with your baby as they grow. In Stage 1 it's a traditional high chair featuring a five point harness, foot bar, and easy to wipe clean full seat, and removable tray. Height: Varies by arrangement. The big thing to know is th kitchen helper lifts the child up 15.5″ and it's full height is 36.3″. The second stage total height is about 34″ and the seat height can be adjusted between 23.5″ to 20″. The Clikk is an intelligently designed high chair. The design is so impressive, it beat out the competition for an international design award. This essentially gives the option to skip the plates and just put the food on the tray then bring it over and fit it on top of the attached tray. Personally, we really like this option from an easy of cleaning perspective.

To assemble, you’ll start with the seat component. From there, the four wooden legs snap into the corresponding holes on the bottom of the seat. Then, you just need to attach the tray and footplate.

While this is certainly an annoying feature, it doesn’t cool my feelings for the Clikk. Honestly, I have never encountered a high chair that didn’t utterly frustrate me when it came time to remove the tray! While the Clikk doesn’t break the mold here, it certainly isn’t a reason to pass it up. Tray is Small Proper eating posture means better head control for the youngest diners. For more independent eaters, good posture allows them easier access to their plates. Most importantly, proper positioning promotes safer swallowing and decreases the risk of aspiration. Red Dot is an international design competition judged by an expert jury. For the 2022 competition, the Clikk high chair was deemed the winner of the Product Design award for 2022. There is nothing quite as overwhelming as being a new parent. You soon find yourself knee-deep in cardboard boxes and bubble wrap, drowning in new nursery items. Which is why you want to assemble these items to be as easy as possible. And let’s face it, nothing moves faster than a crawling six month old who senses you have something important to do that might distract you for a split second. This is where Stokke comes in. Their Clikk highchair is designed to be super easy to build, without compromising on quality or appearance. Here we take a look at the Stokke Clikk highchair, our product of the week and let you know our thoughts! What is it? To keep the high chair’s footprint small, the Clikk does have a smaller-than-average tray. Most other high chairs have huge bulky trays with more surface area for mealtime. Even so, the Clikk’s tray still has adequate space for a plate or bowl and a sippy cup.

Both the Clikk and The Chair are sleek, easy-to-clean, and promote good ergonomics with adjustable footrests. Similarities aside, the Clikk still comes out ahead. This is mostly due to the limitations of The Chair past mealtime. To “shrink” The Chair to a play chair, you have to buy additional chair legs. Furthermore, a single play chair isn’t very useful without a companion or two. FAQs About the Clikk High Chair What age range is the Clikk high chair appropriate for? The 3-in-1 version converts to a toddler tower (aka a kitchen helper). A kitchen helper is one of my favorite items to have in the home. It basically is a step stool for kids to be up at counter height. Specs: Stokke, a company based in Norway, follows traditional Scandinavian design with a light and natural wood, along with muted neutral shades and minimalist style. As minimalism keeps gaining traction, parents are drawn to simpler high chairs like the Clikk.

Likewise, the high chair’s tray is a breeze to keep clean as well. Small messes simply wipe clean. After a particularly messy meal, though, the tray can be placed in the dishwasher. It’s dishwasher safe? Oh yes! Folded: For all configuration it's 22.7″ wide. For the highchair it's 12.59″ deep, and then the stage 2 and 3 are 13″ deep. Height varies amongst the three stages when folded between 39.7″ to 43.7″ Feet are not grippy to the floor, so it slides too much on smooth surfaces. This is particularly problematic with the tough to slide tray mechanism. The Stokke Clikk high chair is intended for ages 6 months to 3 years. As with most high chairs, infants should be able to sit on their own before using the Clikk high chair. A small tray may be a deal-breaker for you though. Keep the tray size in mind before deciding on the Clikk high chair. Price

With that said, their kitchen helper isn't the safest design for littles (all open sides). In some cases it may make sense to get a different toddler tower with enclosed sides. Additionally, the anti-slip resistant feet of the Evolve tower means it will remain stationary, whereas with other towers my kids have always pushed them around wherever they wanted in the kitchen.

The Chair is a lightweight and compact minimalist high chair. Once your child outgrows the need for a high chair, The Chair transforms into a sweet minimalist play chair. For a comfy seat, you can buy the Clikk high chair cushion. It’s made with breathable cotton and reversible, with one coated side that is easier to wipe clean. The design of the meal tray itself is incredibly intuitive: free of any unnecessary creases or crevices, the Stokke Clikk High Chair meal tray is dishwasher safe and easy to keep clean between meals. The distinct design of the meal tray complements the stylish (yet still ergonomic!) lines of the Clikk’s seating, which features an adjustable footrest.
