The Scravenger includes 26 Zombie Strike Darts (green elite darts) and two 12-round magazines. The magazines are spring-fed, which tend to feed better than many of the new hopper-fed nerf guns. It also has a tactical light attachment and two tactical rails: one below the muzzle and another on the handle.
Three big names dominate the lever-gun market, each with slight differences and a variety of options – Ot could be argued that the Lever Action Rifles and Carbines were the Assault Rifles of the era. Fast Follow Up shots, a variety of calibers, and high capacity tubular magazines (for their time) compared to any Civilian or Military Firearm contemporary to the time. Lever Actions "scream" Wild West, even when furnitured with more modern polymers. They recall episodes of the Rifleman, John Wayne,and the countless "B" Westerns Hollywood churned out in the 30s and 40s. No other Rifle has that distinct "Americana" look, that even folks unfamiliar with guns recognize. In 1996, Louis Imperato and his son bought the trademark to the Henry name and began producing rifles inspired by the original Henry rifle designs.

The Slingfire would have been number one on this list if it hadn’t recently been discontinued. BUT there is still a decent supply of them floating around online, so I’ll leave it on this list while they are still widely available. This ROBLOX-themed Nerf gun is inspired by the Roblox game Adopt Me! and launches darts at an average of 70 FPS.
The Slingfire comes with a 6-round magazine and six green Nerf elite darts but can be upgraded using any N-Strike Elite magazine—including a 25-round drum! Booyah!Let’s start with the coolest features that set it apart from other nerf guns: slam-fire action, naked-gun mode, and a removable two-shot sidearm. This spring-powered war machine can hold up to 32 nerf elite darts in its two massive drums and uses Nerf’s “flip shot” technology.
It has a single tactical rail on top that is compatible with any N-Strike accessories and a very clean feeling action on the lever. The plastic shell uses a unique dart—the length is shorter than a standard nerf dart but longer than a half-length dart. The shells are also compatible with any other half-length darts. Firstly, it’s made pretty flimsy, and I’m sure the priming handle will be the first thing to break for many. Secondly, it has weird ergonomics to it. The handle is massive, even for someone with large hands like myself—which can also make using the lever-action awkward since it is so far away from the trigger. The first thing you’ll notice when you take the Winchester 1887 out of the box is that it is hefty. This isn’t a cheap plastic toy that will break within a week and is made of solid aluminum and hard ABS plastic.
Final Thoughts
A sad reality in the Nerf gun world is that many of the best blasters are not actually Nerf products. Instead, they are community or hobbyist projects that eventually sell commercially. Even the most powerful Nerf guns in the world are not Nerf-brand products! If you are buying one of our Wild West air rifles or pistols rather than an airsoft gun, you must also be over 18 and be aware of any air weapon delivery requirements.
It uses an eight-dart non-removable rolling drum and comes with eight orange Nerf Elite darts. Loading this blaster is on the slower side as you must load from the left side and manually spin the drum for each dart. Some of these rifles on the list are much harder to find on the market as some of these are no longer being produced in mass quantities. With that said, either myself or my colleagues have been fortunate enough to have shot all of the models mentioned. Aside from having hands-on experience with these guns, many of them are obvious choices due to them being well loved classics. Why Lever-Actions Rifles?The blaster includes six shells, 20 darts (ten suction darts and ten standard darts), eye protection glasses, and white gloves. This unique-looking blaster has a sawed-off shotgun and zombie theme, and the finer details of its design really sell that experience.
