History of the HEAD Radical

Similar to my Head Speed Pro, I felt like the Radical had no real weaknesses. I generated a good spin and power on my serves. From the baseline, it performed similarly on my groundstrokes with a high level of comfort. I was able to hit with easy depth and topspin. The Head Radical has been one of the most popular models of tennis racquets in the world for decades. Weight: The Head Radical MP weighs approximately 11 ounces (without strings). In my experience, this is a medium weight for a tennis racquet, providing enough weight to generate power while still being easy to maneuver. If you could bring it up to 305g then I think it would offer a lot more performance, but still maintain its easy playability. The new Head Radical MP is a seriously precise frame for players looking for great accuracy on groundstrokes.

Feel: This new version of the Head Radical MP is a significant departure from my last Graphene Touch Radical MP regarding feel. The response is much more solid and connected on impact, whereas the Graphene Touch version was more dampened. I thought I really enjoyed the dampened feel of the Graphene Touch Radical, but after trying this one, I realized I like the more crisp feel.
