Red Pepper Flakes. I love the spice this adds to the dish. You can adjust the amount to more or less based on the level of spice you prefer. Whenever we go for lunch or dinner in Olive garden, Carabbas, Buca di Beppo or any nice Italian restaurant, we always wait for them to bring the warm bread and dipping oil. Those bread dips have always been the star of our meal. You can serve olive oil dip with any crusty bread and also it’s a great addition to a cheese board or charcuterie platter. Why you should try this recipe?

x 200ml Chilli, Garlic & Ginger Bread Dipper: Another Great Taste Award-Winning bread dipper. Perfect for drizzling into stir-fries, curries and soups for some added heat Heating Option: For an added dimension of flavor, you can gently heat the oil with the herbs to infuse it before cooling and serving. Italian Seasoning. To keep the convenience factor of this recipe and many other Italian dishes, I like to keep a jar of Italian Seasoning on hand. Since fresh garlic is used, keep refrigerated to avoid the risk of spoiling. Store in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks. Allow the oil to come to room temperature before serving. Whisk together before serving. Separation is normal. 🥣 More Dips RecipesParmesan cheese– The quality of Parmesan cheese is also important for this olive oil bread dip. I don’t recommend using the canned kind that doesn’t even require refrigeration sitting on the shelf near the pasta. Use good quality parmesan cheese. Vegetarian parmesan cheese is easily available in whole foods and sprouts. Feel free to adjust any of the spices and herbs to your liking. You can easily play around with this recipe. You will never go wrong.

Balsamic vinegar. This brings the perfect amount of acidity and sweetness. If you don't have balsamic vinegar on hand all the time, you can add a squeeze of lemon juice instead. Shred your own Parmesan cheese. Pre-shredded cheeses are coated in some weird stuff. So skip pre-shredded. White Balsamic, Tarragon and White Peppercorn Bread Dipper is complex and works well with cold meats. Fresh Garlic– Freshly minced garlic is going to taste best in this recipe. I would not recommend replacing it with Garlic powder in this recipe!Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The obvious key ingredient here is extra virgin olive oil. A great quality olive oil is perfect and all but use what doesn't break your wallet! Another money-saving tip is to use butter, however, I HIGHLY recommend using olive oil. Olive oil is higher in monounsaturated fats (the good kind) and butter is higher in saturated fats (the not-so-great ones you want to limit).

Parmesan cheese adds a rich, savory, and slightly nutty flavor to the dip. It contributes to the umami profile and makes the dip creamy when combined with the olive oil. Flavoured with sharp Asiago cheese and balanced with artichokes and capers this product is a combination of sunflower oil, olive oil and Chardonnay wine vinegar. To enjoy Canada’s original and most respected bread dipper, simply shake vigorously, drizzle onto our specially designed ceramic serving plate and serve with freshly torn chunks of crusty bread. Other inspirational ideas include using our dippers as a marinade or vinaigrette.

DRESSINGS

If you are like us, who simply love dipping warm crusty bread in herb-infused oil, you no longer have to wait until you go to your favorite Italian restaurant to indulge in dipping oil. Of course, serve with your favorite dipping bread! My personal favorites are sourdough, crostini, a french baguette, or focaccia bread. 🍽 Storing Olive Oil Bread Dip Fresh herb– as a fresh herb, I have used fresh basil. Lots of basil is growing in my kitchen garden this time of the year and I always look for ways to use it in recipes. This infused oil recipe is the perfect way to use them. If you don’t have fresh basil, sure you can use dried basil or can substitute it with other herbs like rosemary, thyme, parsley, or even mint. You can also use a combination of your favorite fresh herb. Step by step process making of your own olive oil dip for bread I love to serve this bread dip on cheese plates, with appetizer spreads, with fresh baked breads and rolls, or with baguettes. It is delicious brushed over toasted baguettes for bruschetta, and even tossed with pasta or salad for an extra burst of flavor!
