Description

Revive your kitchen or bathroom with our selection of ceramic and tile paints. Our tile paint for floors and walls is available in a range of colours, is easy to apply, and provides a durable, long-lasting finish. It can be used to completely transform your shower or kitchen, or to make minor changes to existing surfaces. Stir well before use. Apply evenly with a brush or roller and avoid overspreading. Do not apply in temperatures below 10ºC or in damp conditions. After application, it is near impossible for the paint to flake or peel as it is highly adhesive. An impressive drying and setting time means you can use the surface early. Besides, this varnish has good coverage and concentration and can completely hide previous paint works. There is also absolutely no need for an undercoat before applying. Fabulous coverage I've tried lots of expensive paint in the past and this has been the best ever result. Only had to do a little touch up in places... Definitely recommend it and I will use nothing else in the future 👌" What to read next However, if it's a lighter colour, then for a majority of the paints listed, you should be able to easily paint over the old colour. Can I use tile paint for any other materials?

Use warm soapy water to clean the area of any dirt, mould or grease that may have accumulated, using any fungicidal sprays beforehand. Use a fine, waterproof abrasive paper to remove any blemishes on the tiles if needed. If you want to bring a touch of colour to your old bathroom tiles then Rust-Oleum is the choice for you. It’s durable, easy to apply and looks great once set.So how do you know which tile paint is best for you? Well, this all depends on the job at hand. Our advice is to always use a paint that’s been formulated for a specific job. For example, if you’re thinking about painting your floor tiles – a paint formulated for floor tiles will be better than kitchen wall tiles. When redecorating spaces like your bathroom, you’ll want to have a variety of options and colours at your disposal and this is exactly what Rust-Oleum tile paint supplies. This is mostly dependent on the quality of the paint itself, as well as the colour of paint that you're painting over. If you'd like to paint over a particularly dark shade, we'd recommend using a paint stripper to clean your tiles thoroughly beforehand. However, before you begin to paint any tiles, we advise that you remove tiles that are defective because you may struggle to achieve a good finish. For example, tiles to remove would be those that are chipped or can’t be sanded down to a smooth finish.

Clean your tiles with a strong detergent, then soapy water, rinse, wipe dry and finish by lightly wiping white vinegar or alcohol onto the tiles. Allow to dry.You don’t need to believe the word ‘multipurpose’ until it suits your own need. In truth, the Bedec BEDE2KA0002/29 Gloss Multi-Surface Paint works well with ceramic tiles. The paint is water-based and easily washes off from your brush under running water. The acrylic property makes it non-toxic. Besides, it has a low odour that makes it safe to use without causing nasal problems. While not specifically a tile paint, this is an excellent all-purpose solution to revitalise your home. Apply with plenty of ventilation as Ronseal's tile paint can cause drowsiness. Also, if you suffer from allergies and/or skin conditions, it's recommended that you wear gloves during application.
