Barry Meguiar, grandson of Frank, describes the Meguiar’s brand in simple terms. “We are car guys who happen to be in the car wax business. The ultimate experience for us comes when our two passions merge in the exhilaration of “Best of Show” winners who regularly use our products.” How to Use Meguiar’s Quik Car Interior Detailing Cleaner We used a nearly twenty-year-old vehicle with years of interior wear to test each car interior cleaner for this review. Each cleaner was used on various surfaces within the car with a microfiber towel, with the exception of the Armor All wipes. Scent: With any cleaner, there’s a risk of overpowering or offensive scent. After cleaning, we determined the scent that the cleaner left behind in our vehicle. Cleaners that had a strong chemical smell scored lower in this category. The interior cleaners that left a subtle, pleasant smell after cleaning scored the highest. One thing I hate as both a detailer, and driver, is a shiny dash. The reflections and glare a shiny dash can cause is a distraction, and at times dangerous. That’s why I love Meguiar’s Quik Interior Detailer – it cleans leaving a matt finish. I bought a new bottle of the Meguiar’s Quik Interior Detailer and went straight to my garage. With a couple of clean microfiber towels in hand, I prepared myself for the task at hand….. Putting it to the test: Meguiar’s Quik cleaner review The main reason to buy this product is its versatility. You can use it on almost every interior surface. It won’t clean your carpets and I’d not use it on glass but for everything else – you’re covered! It comes in a 16 oz. spray bottle so you can easily dispense the product with a simple squeeze of the trigger. The formula is designed to clean the surface without leaving a greasy or glossy appearance. In fact, unlike other dashboard protectants, this product is safe to use on LCD screens. I would personally stay away from interior cleaners unless you have a heavily soiled interior. You can safely clean the interior using a simple combination of mild soapy water and microfiber cloth. But as I found out in the later part of this review, the Quik Interior Detailer came in handy when it’s time to safely remove dirt and smudges on plastic LCD screens and tough stains on vinyl headliners with a simple wipe.
The trigger sprays are good quality, offering ‘spray’ and ‘off’ settings. The triggers have a good draw and consistent spray output. There is very little ‘spitting’ at the start and finish of the trigger spray cycle. Next, I tested the product in my leather seats and door sidings. I sprayed directly on the seats and gently wiped off the excess with a separate microfiber cloth. I dirty’d up about 3 more microfiber towels when I was done with the front and rear seats and the door sidings, but the results were admirable nevertheless. Some of my thoughts on the Meguiar’s Quik… The good thing about the Meguiar’s Quik is you don’t need to use a lot of the spray to obtain great results. I found this out the hard way when I hosed down my dash like a fireman… and then realized I was soaking up a pool with my microfiber cloth. So yeah, two or three sprays DIRECTLY ON YOUR MICROFIBER CLOTH should cover your dash… Starting with the dash…

GLASS CLEANER SPRAY & WATER REPELLENT: Sophisticated chemistry thoroughly cleans exterior glass while leaving behind a layer of protection that delivers a hydrophobic finish that repels water, so it rolls right off Application: Chemical Guys isn’t kidding with the title “Total Cleaner.” We were able to spray this on nearly all interior surfaces without damaging them. The formula’s watery texture caused it to drip more than expected, so users should be wary of over-spraying. product/helpAdviseTab.hbs -->
