About this deal

This special Mini Crimp Applicators for Crimping Presses model has been specifically made for parallel and junctions connections. Crimping bootlace ferrules are a type of crimp connector combining a metal tube that has been crimped over a wire. They are also known as cord end terminals and are typically used with multi-stranded wires to avoid the strands fanning out - thereby creating a stronger electrical connection. Most are also fitted with a colour-coded insulation collar to protect the connection and help to hold the wiring in place.

Coaxial cable is a widely used form of insulated wiring, used for signals sensitive to outside interference. The shielding that protects the signal requires a special form of crimping to maintain its integrity. Constructed from high-quality stainless steel, the Korda Mini Krimp Fishing Tool is built to withstand the rigours of regular angling sessions. The rubberised handles provide a comfortable grip and excellent control, making crimping a simple and efficient process. With the Korda Mini Krimp, you'll achieve consistently tight and secure connections, ensuring that your rigs remain reliable and effective even under challenging conditions. Also known as battery-powered crimping tools, electrical crimping tools require less physical effort than their manually operated counterparts. Additionally, they apply more force, sometimes needed for certain materials, such as aluminium.

Due to their versatility, hydraulic crimping tools come in different variations, such as hand-hydraulic or remote-hydraulic models, giving you plenty of options for your specific crimping task. A bootlace crimp tool, also known as a ferrule crimping plier, connects bootlace ferrules. This particular tool self-adjusts according to the ferrule’s size. The tool only has 2 sizes of crimp that it caters for which is one less than both the Wychwood and Korda options. The end of the crimping tool is plier-like but flat and has no serration to it. I also use a fishing crimping tool to take off unnecessary components on items such as ring swivelsto minimise the amount of metal that makes up the rig. A good fishing crimping tool will come with additional features such as plier-type jaws that can achieve this sort of job with ease. Plumbers also find this tool particularly useful as a PEX crimp tool can help to create a watertight seal without distorting the pipe. Getting it just right though when you do crimp something, so that it won’t slip or weaken the material, is always a concern, but this Mini Krimp Tool alleviates that issue as it is purposely designed for use with the three sizes of Krimp that we sell – the jaws are marked with XS, S and L to denote the slot that should be used for each size. There are various types of crimp tool available, each with distinct advantages and disadvantages. For smaller crimping requirements, where precision is key, a manually-operated crimp tool will most likely be sufficient. However, when more power is required, hydraulic and electrical models are also available.Additionally, most mini crimping tools have rotatable flip-top heads, allowing for flexibility within areas where space is restrictive.

Depending on the crimping tool’s footings, different models of electrical crimping tools are available to meet these requirements. They are less expensive than their counterparts; however, they are not to be used as frequently as other crimping tools.Hydraulic - Hydraulic crimp tools require very little effort to operate, with their compression power supplied by hydraulic fluid. They deliver maximum power for demanding repair, maintenance and industrial applications
