About this deal

To manifest the psychic power, you must first pass a Psychic test. The opposing player can then select one of their PSYKER units that is within 24" of the PSYKER unit attempting to manifest the power and attempt to deny that power before its effects are resolved by passing a Deny the Witch test. The eclectic raiders that make up a Corsair warband come from all walks of Aeldari life, and those drawn from a craftworld bear a spirit stone. This psychoreactive gem absorbs an Aeldari’s soul when they perish, keeping it safe from the hunger of Slaanesh until it can be returned to its craftworld – and perhaps be installed in a sleek wraithbone construct .

It's not named in the instruction, but the picture on the datacard is of the Warrior built using the Fate Dealer (Warrior holding two Power Weapons). Build a Warrior out of a Gunner/Heavy Gunner body, and instead of a Shuriken Pistol, add the right-hand Power Weapon (or just build it with the Pistol and call it a Kurnathi). The Voidscarred Gunner can choose between two different ranged weapons combined with the Fists melee weapon and a Shuriken Pistol: The Blaster has Armour Penetration 2 and 6 critical damage, and the Shredder does damage to all enemies within a Blast range of Circle/2 inches but with 3 normal and 4 critical damage. Not only is Soul Heal great for keeping your Corsairs in the fight for longer, it’s perfect for restoring an injured fighter to full capacity. If an operative has fewer than half of their wounds remaining, they suffer penalties to their Movement, Ballistic Skill and Weapon Skill characteristics – pump a Voidscarred Warrior full of healthy soul energy, and watch them regain their vim and vigour. and that’s all there is to it! The Kurnathi is simple, but still a good combat operative. If you would like to field it as well as the Fate Dealer, which are made from the same model, you can easily fit its Dual Power Weapons or the Fate Dealer’s Ranger Long Rifle onto another body in the kit, so you can have both. Voidscarred Fate Dealer (1 per kill team) The final game on Sunday was against a team I was familiar with, by dint of owning one myself, but had never played against. Christian was part of a group of lads that had come over from Sweden for the GT, and which included Anton, my Round 4 matchup. He ran the Shrivetalon, Anointed, Chosen Leader, Plasma Gunner, Missile Launcher Heavy Gunner, and a Butcher, all with the Mark of Nurgle for maximum durability goodness.The operative would still count as performing the action for all rules purposes. For example, if it performed it during its activation, it would not be able to perform the action again during that activation. Last week was huge for Aeldari reveals – including the giant new Avatar – but none was as unexpected as the arrival of Corsairs in War Zone Nachmund. The Voidscarred kill team has the Recon and Seek and Destroy archetypes, granting it access to the corresponding Tac Ops in the Core Book. In addition to those, the kill team also has access to the following faction-specific Tac Ops. Flawless Raid Following the instructions, if you only build the Specialists and no Warriors, you'll end up with 2 Gunners and 1 Heavy Gunner. Because you're only allowed one Gunner operative in the team, and because you cannot have a Heavy Gunner and a Gunner on the same team, you'll end up with 2 models out of 10 that you can't use at the same time, while a full team is 9 models. Before the game, I got talking with a fellow Corsair entrant (who also entered the GD with an insanely cool 6mm scale Aeldari titan diorama) about Elf Bullshit. Rather than use the Duellist operative as a counterpunch unit as I do, he likes applying the two possible pre-game dashes from Infiltrate and One Step Ahead to it. A further dash-move gets the Duellist right into the opposing deployment zone in the first turning point, ready to cause Shenanigans.Earlier this year the enigmatic Aeldari Corsairs arrived in the 41st Millennium * in the Kill Team: Nachmund boxed set. It wasn’t long before the updated Codex: Aeldari brought these debonair privateers to the battlefields of Warhammer 40,000. Soul Weavers have a different approach. This month’s White Dwarf joins in with the Kill Team fun with a set of rules for fielding Harlequins in the skirmish combat game. There are also 18 Kill Team Tac Ops cards, a Total War: Warhammer III poster, new Warhammer Age of Sigmar rules for the Blades of Khorne , and much more! Fortress of Redemption : Heavy bolter (Fortification) , Redemption Lascannons, Redemption Missile Silo I ran a roster of 16 Corsair Voidscarred, comprising all the specialists plus two of each flavour of warrior, with only one Felarch with neuro-disruptor. I speed-painted the Gunner with a shredder specifically to have it ready before the GT, in the hopes that his weapon’s Blast rule would come into play on ITD missions. Womp womp. My feeling is that this was another great learning game for both of us – in the prior round we had both faced off against finalists-to-be, whereas we were both relatively green. Wolfgang ultimately took the win 22-14, running away with Tac Ops in the latter turning points and leaving me with not much to counter him.If you look at the Tac Ops of the Voidscarred Kill Teams, they’re very much about getting close to the enemy as well: Opportunists requires you to get close to where your enemies drop dead, and Soul Guard even gives you a way of scoring Victory Points when your operatives are incapacitated if their friends can get to where they fell.
