Below are all racing wheels that will work with EA Sports WRC at launch on Xbox Series X|S consoles. This is a much shorter list than the PC wheel compatibility list above due to Xbox’s reduced compatibility with certain racing wheels.

We're hoping historic cars will return in WRC 11, but we’ll have to wait until the game is announced to find out. Resolved an issue where in the Ford Fiesta WRC 2019 the driver would pull the handbrake instead of the paddles to shift gears. Grid Legends was great. WRC 2023 has Sega GT Dreamcast's feature but expanded upon I assume yes please wanted that for years now. Besides I assume other noteworthy things.

This is a revolution for the rally world, significantly affecting performance, changing strategies and making drivers and teams adapt. This is a new stage introduced in the 2023 WRC calendar that starts in Prague and takes drivers on a challenging route through the Czech Republic, Austria and Lower Bavaria. Snow is also a notable offender, especially considering how great it looks in 2022’s WRC Generations from Kylotonn. In the latter, snow glistened and clumped on the verges of the roads. In WRC it mostly looks like dirt painted matt white. I had figured this might have been a side effect of the fact WRC boasts the nifty ability to customise seasons to race stages in different conditions (and that there was a summertime environment masked underneath the snow effect). However, it turns out Sweden and the equally snowy (but fictional) Nordic event Rally Scandia are actually the only two rallies in WRC I can’t select a different season for. So there’s no excuse for why this snow blows. Should you come loose, you have a number of options. One, you can attempt to doughnut your way into facing the right direction. (If you have somersaulted from a lofty peak, this becomes a pretty steep challenge.) Two, you can reset your car's position, with a time penalty. And three, you can quit and enroll in the Rally School. This helpful mode teaches you the basics: juicy starts, off-throttle oversteer, deciphering the arcana of pace notes, etc. The best tests of your resolve are the Regulation Rallies, wherein you uphold an average speed for the stage, and are penalised for exceeding it. It's as though the game were balancing a biscuit on your snout and telling you to wait.

Elsewhere, the patch makes improvements across the entire game; fixing crash instances, improving and fixing graphical issues, correcting voice and text errors, audio adjustments, Builder mode's user interface, improvements to lots of vehicles, specific co-driver calls, and much more. To play this game on PS5, your system may need to be updated to the latest system software. Although this game is playable on PS5, some features available on PS4 may be absent. See PlayStation.com/bc for more details. Fixed an issue where in-game menus could not be navigated while using the Fanatec CSL Elite Wheel Base. The only other caveat is the asphalt handling, which has been tweaked, but perhaps not for the better – at least, not for controller players. The sheer responsiveness of the cars on asphalt is acceptable on my Thrustmaster TS-XW racing wheel, but on a controller it’s extremely twitchy and very difficult to sling high-powered cars into drifts without oversteering instantly. I’ve tried dulling the sensitivity and adjusting the steering linearity but I don’t think I’ve found the right solution yet.
