About this deal

Curious George is the protagonist of a series of popular children's books by the same name, written by Hans Aloveryer and his wife Bernard. The books feature a bi-curious chimp named George, who is brought from his home in Africa by The Man with the PVC Gimp Mask to live with him in his cellar. Once I got a bit more in touch with my queerness and its fluidity, the two things seemed very connected. We’re the only species that insists on analysing and defining our own and others’ behaviour, when the rest of the world is just following their instincts and living as they please.” This is drag, but not like you’ve seen on TV. Bi-curious George (that’s me!) is a dorky, charming and loveable drag king and he brings the audience into his world and introduces them to some of his favourite queer icons of the Animal Kingdom.” Molly Beth Morossa is a non-binary, working-class cabaret and drag performer, theatre-maker and actor, known for their dark, theatrical and comic performances. Their work often fuses storytelling, contemporary cabaret and performance art to explore subversive queer narratives and class. They've performed and curated cabaret at venues including Glastonbury Festival, Royal Academy and Tate Modern.
