About this deal

This is not an ordinary boy meets girl romantic story, which makes it my kind of story. I loved the dynamic between the twisted main characters, who just happened to be a nihilistic necrophiliac and a cannibal doctor. Their interaction, the way they struggle to open up, along with their inner dialogues felt both compelling and amusing. I was utterly hypnotized by it. But I enjoyed reading this one. It was funny, intense, bizarre and revolting. I loved the main character and his hatred for people. Well, we all want to be normal and he’s out there breaking the norms. Good for you, boy. This book through morality out the 𝐅#𝐂𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 planet but it was a 𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐀𝐂𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐑, 𝐅𝐀𝐒𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐇𝐎𝐑𝐑𝐈𝐅𝐘𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃.

This is a memoir chronicling Cyndy's teenage years. She wasn't a bad kid and she wasn't a perfect kid, she was just an average one. She struggled to belong in her own skin and to find her own crowd. Every bad decision she ever made was one calculated to allow her to fit in. But what Cyndy soon realised was that every one of these decisions came at a price. Was she often misguided? Yes. Did she deserve the way her life panned out? Definitely not. What happened was enough to drive many people beyond the limits of what they were capable of living with and now they are no longer with us. Read it for them, but read it for yourself too. This can make it difficult to share your emptiness and receive social support. It can also play a role in worsening the feelings of emptiness that you are experiencing. You Might Feel Physically Empty This book has been praised for its powerful message and raw, honest writing style. With over 500 thousand copies sold worldwide, it is one of the most successful books published in 2020. This book is especially for those who favored books like The Bell Jar in high school (or who currently favor such fare). Cyndy PROVOKES the reader into feeling right along with her, particularly when you're filling in any blanks in her story with your own. You don't need to have been a victim of sexual abuse, or have tried drugs... I was to the outside world a goody-two-shoes in high school but I felt separated from my peers by a vast distance despite my greatest longings to fit in. I had beef with my own mom over her boyfriend and who she became after my parents' separation (and later divorce). I had all the makings of feeling totally isolated and depressed and even a bit angry. Cyndy conjures all those feelings with her writing, which has a zip and a zing and is the voice of many an angsty teen today. Consider this your goddamn trigger warning. This story is short being a novella and totally entertaining. We follow an unnamed narrator as he goes about explaining and indulging in his unconventional proclivities and then he meets a girl...thus the story begins, but rest assured, this is unlike any love story you've ever come across. This is a nightmare made tangible both to the protagonist and the reader.

In this article, we will explore the themes presented in Dead Inside and provide an overview of the characters and story line. We will also analyze the human emotions explored throughout the novel as well as Morrison’s unique writing style that makes it so powerful and engaging to read. Even the ending, with an interesting plot twist, was a solid way to end this strange book. Just like in those SAW movies, Morrison left the absolute worst for last and my goodness, it’s beyond demented. I was curious as to how all this would end and even I didn’t see that coming to the point where yeah, you finish it and are left wondering what the hell you just read. It’s a feeling that’s hard to explain but let’s just say, you feel guilty for reading this and will want to read a book to cleanse yourself because it’s that grimy and obscenely sexual.the mc caught Helen “in the act” and the whole situation was obviously absurdly funny to me once again. Providing readers with an intimate look into the depths of human emotion, Chandler Morrison’s novel effectively communicates its powerful message about inner turmoil, particularly in regards to the prevalence of mental health issues; according to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, nearly 1 in 5 adults in the United States experience mental illness each year. When I found out that I was going outward bound, I thought it was a death sentence. I truly believed my parents were sending me off to get eaten by a bear or fall off a cliff. Or possibly starve. I begged. I pleaded. I cried. In desperate hope that my parents would change their minds and take me home. They didn't. I have to say guys, I wasn’t expecting this story to turn out like that at all. A few months ago I was looking through the new books on Netgalley, found this story and immediately requested it. I had heard about these types of camps and institutions years ago, but I have never looked into them that deeply. This story follows Cyndy Etler as she recounts her adolescence and her time in a “tough love” style rehabilitation camp. Chandler Morrison’s novel, Dead Inside, is a powerful exploration of human emotion and inner turmoil.
