About this deal

BASS- A5000 is more of a quality than quantity. The texture of the bass and timbre is so awesome that i haven't heard that in any of the iem i have mentioned above. There is enough sub bass rumble but not like a basshead iem, It's there when you need it. The mid bass is where the iem shines, its beautifully done. The bass dosen't bleed into the mids or overpower any of the other frequencies. So the Bass is excellent on a5000. (5/5)

The Bass of this single dynamic driver IEM is fairly impressive. It extends well into the sub bass region and offers consistent decay and rumble. I was unable to detect and bleeding into the mid bass region, which was clean but offered good impact. It is not extremely elevated in this region and some bass heads may want more but overall; I would say it is enjoyable. The speed of the dynamic driver in this range is what left the biggest impression. Bass slopes downward to the mid-range without any extreme dips or steepness. Their musicality remains quite serious and mature, but never boring: they are iem's that wake up with their alert rendering, always focus. This is another area where the A5000 feels the most like an enhanced version of the A4000. The bass on the A4000 harnesses some solid impact, but most of its power is relegated to the mid-bass. It is missing that extra foundation of sub-bass texture, which the A5000 delivers in a satisfying way. Both IEMs are totally clean in the lows, and never appear muddy or too bloated. They have natural transparency and resolution, but the A5000 just adds more body to the tone overall. Mids Going in to the nitty gritty Bass on the A5000 is impactful and dynamic. Certainly enough for all genres. The bulk of the bass here is from the sub-bass and lower mid bass. This allows for a cleaner mid range presentation. Suffice it to say, impressed many of us here at MajorHiFi, but there is also the A4000 to consider. When you have one of the best budget IEMs getting this kind of upgrade, a comparison is a no-brainer. Hopefully, this review will help you decide which one to get. What You Get

Switching to Turbine Gold, I think it sounded closer to A4000 than IE80 and FX750. The Turbine Gold also has a similar soundstage and clarity as the A4000. The Turbine Gold has metal shells so they are heavier and not as comfortable as A4000. Inside the silicone case houses the A5000 itself, paired with final's new OFC Silver-coated cable. BuildWith over 50 years of combined experience, PP-distribution is capable and committed to the needs of music lovers, industry peers as well as manufacturers. The A5000 and E5000 have fundamentally different fits and physical designs. Rather than attempting the impossible and (in this case) entirely subjective task of deciding which provides “better” comfort, I'll instead just use this section to highlight their differences. In addition to clear vocals, even the fine mid- and low-range sounds are reproduced clearly, creating a sense of depth in each note, allowing you to feel the uplifting feeling of music more than ever before.

Final Audio A5000 vs. E5000 Comparison Review Final Audio A5000 vs. E5000 Comparison Review

The gripes: One of the thing I discovered is that my A4000 unit has reverse polarity on both sides. Some may say it doesn’t matter as long as it’s not out of phase with each other, but in my experience, it does affect the staging for worse. Normally, I can try to reverse the cable since my cable doesn’t have earhooks. But with how A4000 is built (look at the notch in the cable port), it can only use the cable as is and accept the fate of it being reverse polarity I like that there is a slight bump on the sub bass that gives it beautiful dynamics and a lively sound. The A5000 is equipped with the f-Core DU driver, which was developed and designed entirely in-house, including parts and production equipment. The sound quality was designed based on final's unique evaluation method established during the development of the flagship earphone A8000. In addition to the so-called "transparent sound" that allows you to clearly hear sounds that are localized at a distance, you can hear even the finer sounds in the mid-low range, giving each sound a sense of depth. I can. In addition, a newly designed 2-Pin soft silver-coated cable developed for the A5000 is standard equipment. The braided cable makes it easy to handle, and you can feel the A5000's sound even more clearly. The impedance of A4000 is 18 ohm. Although the sensitivity is only 100 db/mW. Therefore it requires a little bit more power to drive the A4000 compared to the IE80 (16 ohm, 125 db/mW). IEMs: A12t > Elysian Annihilator 2023 > Helios SE > UERR CIEM > Fearless S8 Pro > Hidition Viento B CIEM > 64 Audio U4S > Ucotech RE2 > Noble K10 EncoreHighs: I'm kind of a trebblehead so I like bright earphones, this is one of those, if you are treble sensitive this won’t do it for you, even as a treble head the A5000 gets fatiguing after a while, and it´s not like it has great extension or a nice airy sensation, so treble it’s a little weird, edgy, not for everyone and it´s the A5000 huge weak point. As someone extremely sensible for sibilances I can only get a little of those so not a problem with sibilances in particular. Inside, the A5000 houses final’s latest dynamic driver the f-core DU that has a nice brass front housing: more inert to magnetic forces compared to regular aluminium used in just about a bazillion other dynamic driver earphones. SILICONE CARRYING CASEIt is a silicon carry case that can be rolled up and stored easily. The earphone body is softly fixed with a dome-shaped thin silicone lid. Coated in rubberized material, the cable is like an old lamp cable with two strands melded together below the y-splitter, and single above. I often took great pleasure in pulling apart my father’s old lamp cables, with his permission of course... microphonics are minimal and much better than some others of more expensive ilk lately. Overall, the A5000 was a pleasure to listen to once I got a good fit. Adding a bit of mid bass with the Mojo 2’s EQ made a big difference to make the A5000 a bit more well-rounded for my preferences. I don’t EQ a lot but the Final Audio A5000 took the eq very well.
