Some good tastes, but more peat than I remember from a drink I had several years ago. Also, a bit more astringent than I recall.The Johnnie Walker Blue Label combines only the rarest and exceptional old-aged malt and grain Scotch whiskies. Only one in a thousand casks goes into making this whisky. Very rarely does a cask contain such a high standard of character and flavor. Nose: Fragrant with good body. Notes of oak, crisp spice, dried fruit, pastries. Berry fruits, aniseed, hints of cedar, a touch of spice and citrus.
