The next amiibo to launch in the Super Smash Bros. series has now arrived, but as fans of these collectable little figures will know, getting ahold of one can be tougher than you'd expect. While Metroid Dread is now a few weeks old, the amiibo that were intended to accompany its launch were unfortunately delayed in the UK and Europe, which means we've had to wait a little longer to get our grubby hands on them. It was discovered earlier this month that the upcoming Switch release Kirby and the Forgotten Land would support amiibo functionality, and now in an update, it seems reprints of existing Kirby amiibo have been confirmed. The stats just keep coming in Nintendo's latest financials. This time the focus is on its amiibo line and just how much it has sold since they were first launched in 2014. This week marks the release of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD on the Nintendo Switch. It's a game that was originally released during the Wii generation in 2011.

The Super Smash Bros amiibo line is almost coming to an end!
