All of these DiamondClean Smarts offer everything the 7100 has in a beautiful satin-finish like the DiamondClean. They give you 5 modes to choose from with 3 intensities for a grand total of 15 options when you brush, which is more than anyone needs. It is relatively quiet, and the battery life is excellent. In our test, we got almost 50 days of cleaning from one charge which is quite a bit better than Philips’ claim of 2 weeks. It took about 13 hours to charge the battery fully, which was average for most brushes we tested. Battery life testing results after three months of use Charging is done using the included induction charger which plugs into a wall outlet. One complaint we had for most of these brushes is that the charging cord is a bit short and this one is only 100 cm (40 inches).
