About this deal
CORSAIR iCUE software brings your system to life with dynamic RGB lighting synchronized across all your iCUE compatible products, including fans, RGB LED light strips, keyboards, mice and more.
No fancy RGB lighting to be had here, as they are all about performance. be quiet! currently dominate our CPU cooling charts, so we are very hopeful for awesome performance in our test. CORSAIR AirGuide technology utilizes anti-vortex vanes to direct airflow and concentrate cooling, improving cooling whether used as intake, exhaust, or mounted to a liquid cooling radiator or heatsink.
Plus the PSU, but I'm happy to not have this controlled by iCue for the moment, as on the 280X case I have it will be out of sight anyway.
SP FireStop System has been tested and assessed to BS 476: Part 20. BS EN 1366-4: 2006 and classified to BS EN 13501-2 So we’ve tested them all in the exhaust case fan position and our findings are pretty interesting. The best performing fan in our testing is the Noctua NF-F12 Industrial PPC 3000rpm which may come as no surprise. It’s also one of the most expensive offerings from the list and is the strongest indicator of pure performance without being flashy, especially against those in the price range which extra premium is spent on RGB lighting such as the Corsair SP120 RGB fans. It wouldn’t make sense to conclude everything individually as the results above speak for themselves. When choosing a 120mm to act as a case exhaust, the variation in temperatures between all of the fans tested is minimal with the biggest differences coming from purposely designed slower fans against the fastest with speeds up to 3000rpm.https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Fans/RGB-%26-LED-Fans/iCUE-SP-Series-RGB-PRO-Performance/p/CO-9050094-WW Note that the SP-RGB Pro and SP-RGB Elite, the newer ones, don't have that issue. This is only the original SP-RGB fans. From my research it seems I can combine the LL120 and ML120 fans on the included Corsair Commander CORE that comes with the Capellix Elite AIO.
