About this deal

However, the biggest problem for me came with gaming. If I start a gaming session (say on Destiny or Overwatch), after about 15 minutes the ST100 just cuts out and starts reconnecting/disconnecting every 15 secs. Seems to be power draw related, as these games are graphically intensive. But I can't be sure. I've tried multiple USB ports, multiple USB 3.0 to micro cables, and multiple computers. All produce the same result. I talked with support but wasn't able to fix the issue. I have the most updated BIOS and chipset drivers for my mobo, windows claims USB controller drivers are the best. I've enabled USB legacy support, disabled XHCI handoff, disabled USB selective suspend. Still having the issue though. Just completely cuts out and error codes 1167.

Always a company whom wants to outshine their competition, Corsair has outfitted the ST100 RGB Premium Headset Stand with nine RGB LED zones that allow for individual control through Corsair CUE software. Corsair CUE software currently controls various peripherals from the company, including mice, headsets, keyboards, mouse pads and now, the ST100 RGB Premium Headset Stand. Since the ST100 RGB Premium Headset Stand is CUE-compatible, it can sync with any of the other Corsair CUE-compatible RGB devices to display synchronized lighting effects and perfectly matched colors. Corsair continues to evolve their RGB landscape with new products and hopefully it is only a matter of time before they introduce the Sync software they displayed at Computex to the public, which allows their peripherals to sync up with the in-case lighting provided by the Corsair Lighting Node Pro and associated components. The ST100, for whatever reason, seems to work best with only partial USB initialization, for me that meant going into the BIOS and enabling Fast Boot. Hey guys so I spent a bit of time trying to resolve this issue and I have finally run out of options. This product is problematic, and unfortunately...Corsair support just goes immediately to replacement rather than passing on our information to the experts. We'll just have to do the best we can here. Me too! I tried every USB port on my PC, and nothing works. Works fine for every other device in iCUE, except this. The Corsair ST100 RGB Premium Headset Stand also moonlights as a pretty capable sound card with 7.1 virtual surround support If so, the issue may be caused by the latest iCUE software update coming into conflict with your Windows build. You can try one of the following fixes below. I cue.hid_device_detector: "\\\\?\\hid#vid_1b1c&pid_0a34#7&1d49b690&0&0000#{4d1e55b2-f16f-11cf-88cb-001111000030}" closed. However, I can't solely place a fix on that alone, because I also tweaked other settings at the behest of Corsair support. They are as follows: Keeping your headset on a stand can have benefits, as it will keep them from being accidentally damaged or warped due to sitting with awkward pressure on the earcups or supporting band, along with putting them on display to impress your audiophile friends. In a time when expensive wireless RGB gaming headsets and audiophile headphones are so commonplace on the desks of PC enthusiasts, the idea of an RGB headset stand with some very useful features doesn’t seem so far-fetched. I remembered that last time my scimitar mouse would not update its firmware, support had me do it in safe mode. W cue.firmware.update.process.proto_n: "0" stderr: DD: tryOpen: Failed to open \\?\hid#vid_1b1c&pid_0a34#7&1d49b690&0&0000#{4d1e55b2-f16f-11cf-88cb-001111000030}: 32 I cue.firmware.update.controller: "ST100RGB" FW update has been started. From "Primary FW: 0.02.91; Secondary FW: 0.02.91; Bootloader FW: 0.01" to "Secondary: Application: 0.4.106"I cue.firmware.index: "ST100RGB" firmware update, expected version: 0.4.106 update available, on device: bootloader: 0.1 firmware: 0.2.91 My next instinct was well maybe something on Windows 10 is conflicting with the USB. So I went into Device Manager, found the ST100 and Uninstalled its Drivers manually, uninstalled ICUE and rebooted my PC, reinstalled ICUE and plugged in the ST100. This time the ST100 did not auto detect even by Windows and the lights failed to come on. I went into my PC and Deleted anything listed as Corsair, Anything listed as Void Pro and even went into my Device Manager and Deleted anything related to ST100 and Void Pro and then uninstalled the Software ICUE. Did a Search through my C Drive and Deleted anything remaining of Corsair relating to any .dll's or other files related to ST100 and Void Pro. Add to it the fact, like you said, there isn't even a section in the support categories for this product...means that its either so new that they haven't gotten to adding it yet, or that it doesn't sell well enough to merit its own section, or worse...that they just DGAF. Not that i am aware of. Most CUE related issues e.g. Device not detected, device disconnecting, effects not running are usually resolved when the device is plugged into a AMD/Intel controlled port rather than a third party one.

Just an update on this. As I got home from work and could sit down and trash the ICUE program completely. I'm getting the same issue as everyone else where when trying to update the ST100 firmware it disconnects and fails. So I did some digging around and saw on a few threads to use USBDeview to see if I could see the ST100 there, and I could. However it appears the ST100 Headset appears as "Unknown." As shown here I cue.hid_device_detector: Add close task: "\\\\?\\hid#vid_1b1c&pid_0a32&mi_03#8&28fe0412&0&0000#{4d1e55b2-f16f-11cf-88cb-001111000030}" If troubleshooting sound problems doesn’t work, try uninstalling and re-installing the Corsair audio device drivers and iCUE:CORSAIR iCUE software enables custom audio equalizer settings, immersive 7.1 surround sound, sidetone control and RGB lighting synchronization with compatible CORSAIR peripherals, coolers, fans and more. Rebooted the PC, reinstalled using the latest Software Directly first, did not automatically run the software after install, went into the folder, ran it as admin.

Can all of you confirm which version of iCUE and Windows you are on? Just to confirm, the primary issue you all are having is that ST100 is not showing in iCUE after performing the firmware update? Restart windows 10 in safe mode, open up icue and install the firmware. It took like 20 minutes on mine to finish but it worked.Does not want to update to newest version/crashed and stays disconnected from iCUE until I re enter its USB Cable to my PC. Hower the newest patch seems to be not applied so it is still 0.02.91 and crashes again when trying to update via iCUE. :sigh!:
