About this deal

I started out with this pedal for my synths, and it has been a great help understanding FX chains, and effects in general. But don't expect this little buddy to have the same quality output as a pedal multiple times the prices for a single effect. Whether you're a guitarist or a bass player, you can cut down the size of your pedalboard by adding an MS-70CDR. From a warm, vintage sound to a clear, modern tone, this one pedal can do it all. It offers 86 diverse options for shaping your sound. For ease of use, these are organized into the following categories: Round out your sound with your choice of two different graphic equalizers—one optimized for guitar and the other optimized for bass—and with Zoom's Noise Reduction (ZNR) algorithm, designed to remove noise during pauses while still maintaining your instrument's natural tone. On the whole, the effects are impressive, with the reverbs a real highlight - soundscapers will love Space Hole's modulation and Particle's mangled reverberations. my biggest worry when i bought the pedal was that it will be extremely awkward to use. I'm very pleased to report that it is very intuitive, I got the hang of it almost instantly with no manual reading, I still had to take out the booklet to understand how to make an effect chain and how to tap tempo, but other than that very intuitive.

Considering that Zoom released these pedals nearly ten years ago, at a time when the only, truly respected, digital pedals on the market were the large, high-end units from Strymon and Empress, the humble MultiStomp still managed to make a real name for itself as an incredibly reliable way of achieving a lot of the same, far more expensive sounds, on a budget. You start building your own pedalboard from scratch. You get the basic pedals you need for your core sound/tone first [assuming you already know what you want]. Round out your sound with your choice of two different graphic equalizers—one optimized for guitar and the other optimized for bass—and with Zoom's Noise Reduction (ZNR) algorithm, designed to remove noise during pauses while still maintaining your instrument's natural tone. Key Features Some people have reported hearing a hum, or whine, in their signal when using the MultiStomp, that disappears completely when the pedal is removed. I myself have owned four MultiStomps and have personally never encountered this issue, and I believe it has to do with the grounding of the internal circuitry, somewhere. As well as being able to set up the pedal to select presets faster and easier in a live context, there are also some really cool, third party products that allow you to utilise your MultiStomp into your live rig more efficiently. Simply incredible, the MS-70CDR supplies 16 chorus, 26 delays and 29 reverb effects which is all accessible and includes faithful replications of some of the most popular pedal models of all time. And at such a reasonable and affordable price, the MS-70CDR is a must-buy for the guitarist on the move! Zoom MS-70CDR Multi-Stomp Effects Pedal Features: The MS-70CDR features exclusive all-new models of pedals cloned from the likes of Eventide, Strymon and TC Electronic" There are expensive boutique pedals like those from Strymon and Eventide, there are great mid-price Cut down the size of your pedalboard by adding an MS-70CDR. From a single pedal, you'll have 86 effects waiting at your feet, ready to be called up whenever you need them.

Especially today's budget analog synths tend to have very few, if any, effects built-in. For example, The MS-70CDR's cutting-edge DSP microchip performs 32-bit floating-point calculations, giving it the ability to create sophisticated studio-quality effects such as the 25 rich, dense reverbs and realistic spatial simulations found here. These rooms, halls, arenas, plates, and springs allow you to add depth and spaciousness to your sound. Vintage emulations include the TC Electronic Hall of Fame and Nova, as well as the Digitech RV-7, the Eventide Space, the Electro-Harmonix Holy Grail, and the strymon blueSky.However, the two downsides that all of these aforementioned options have in common, are: 1) a hefty price tag, and 2) a fairly large enclosure. This is where the cheap and tiny Zoom MultiStomp enters the chat. The Zoom MS-70CDR can store a total of 50 user presets with effect settings. Out of the box it ships This is wonderful stuff, but this pedal can offer so much more... Huge Synth Patch From Just a Sawtooth Wave Using an Effects Pedal After that you get one of these Boss sized pedals to experiment with different "extras" that you may not consider to be fundamental to what you are aiming at, without braking your bank account.
