There are but few, if any, names better or more widely known to the people residing in what is commonly designated as the "Ironbound District," situated east of the Pennsylvania Railroad, than that of our fellow-townsman, now under consideration. ... He was, in September, 1864, married to Annie M., daughter of Silas Young, of Sussex County, N.J., and has two children, a daughter,-- Millie Livingston, and a son, William Livingston. Mr. Duncan has been as a Democrat interested in local political measures, and for ten years acted as treasurer of the township of Franklin.
