Opened a new tin of cuprinol garden shades in silver birch today to revamp my garden bench. To say its pathetic is a understatement. It is like painting with coloured water, the consistency of the stain is extremely thin, watery & dripping.. bought two tins of the stuff.. very, very disappointed.. Have used this product before and have always found it to be an excellent product provided you follow the instructions. It is easy to apply, covers well, and gives long lasting protection. I bought 2 tins of white daisy, garden shades for my summer house. After applying it , when it started raining a day later it’s started going yellow. Not fit for purpose. I also used 2 tins of fresh rosemary which was fine. Must be a bad batch. There can’t be any quality control at Cuprinol.
