sheyanne my girl. i love her so so much i want to give her the biggest hug. she is the strongest character i have ever read about and she deserves everything. i related to sheyanne in many different aspects it felt like she was me. the way she grew and came to love herself i’m so proud of her. Holy cow! Talk about a lot going on! I really enjoyed this book! I have found that I actually tend to enjoy historical fiction books way more than I think I will prior to starting the book. At least that has been the case with the last few of them that I have read anyways.

The Golden Hour: A Novel by Beatriz Williams, Paperback

Struggling with anxiety after witnessing a harrowing instance of gun violence, Manuel Soto copes through photography, using his cell-phone camera to find anchors that keep him grounded. His days are a lonely, latchkey monotony until he's teamed with his classmates, Sebastian and Caysha, for a group project. and liam 🫶🏼 liam the love of my life (i will be saying this about ever man katie writes about and no one can stop me) i’m never moving on from him. from the first moment you meet him you WILL fall in love with him From the author of The Deep & Dark Blue comes a tender graphic novel, perfect for our time, that gently explores themes of self-discovery, friendship, healing from tragedy, and hope for a better tomorrow. Sheyanne is forced to confront her demons and her past relationships that have faded into nothing in the years she’s been gone. And she is forced to confront Liam. A man here on limited time, who seems to see straight through her defenses. He is cool, calm, and collected, and there for her every step of the way.Unfortunately, the part of the story I expected to enjoy the most, anything involving the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, was actually the weakest part. The writing for the storyline taking place in the Bahamas felt disjointed at times. Key plot points felt glossed over, almost like it was jumping from point A to point C, with nothing really linking the two things together.

Well before halfway through the book, I was longing for it to be over. I kept going, though, thinking that there might be an espionage story here somewhere. Finally, into the last quarter of the book, the plot turns into something resembling espionage, though “resembling” is probably too strong a word. To avoid spoilers, I’ll just say there is a series of highly improbable events that take place during World War 2 and involve both narratives. I hope you enjoyed this article on the most powerful success factor of personal development and lifelong success. Suggested Articles for Successful People To a portrait of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, this historical novel adds two grand fictional passions: one beginning in Switzerland in 1900, the other in the Bahamas in 1941, both involving a ginger-haired Brit named Thorpe.

Life is made up of these little crossroads, after all,” he said. “A million daily forks in the road.”
