About this deal

Hogwarts Legacy has remained a full-priced title on the Xbox Store ever since it launched in February, but as of today, it's reached an "all time low" - thanks to a 20% discount for Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members. We've been hearing about Hogwarts Legacy for such a long time, and now it's finally ready to launch on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S! The huge open world Harry Potter experience is heading to the two next-gen Xbox consoles for the time being, and will be followed up with an last-gen Xbox One version in a couple of... I play with fidelity mode and it looks fantastic and seem stable enough. So, I am very happy. Looks sharp to. I have no problem with a fairly steady 30 fps with this type of game. I probably have negative 1000% interest in this game, but I definitely can appreciate all the performance options. Although it seems in general we were all sold a giant lie (surprise, surprise) again this generation, as most big-budget games don't/can't run at 4K60FPS on either XSX or PS5. Disappointing... :/ Good... The last time I saw my Xbox Series X break a sweat when playing a game, was when Cyberpunk got updated with better textures and ray tracing. Call me shallow, but I prefer looks over frames. (Unless they fall to a stupidly low level).

Hogwarts Legacy is an immersive, open-world action RPG set in the world first introduced in the Harry Potter books. So, Hogwarts Legacy finally landed on last-gen consoles earlier this month, and an initial look at the Xbox One version showed some surprisingly positive results for this port overall. It's no secret that Hogwarts Legacy has been a huge sales hit so far, with the game getting off to a flying start at retail here in the UK. It's looking like that very commercial success at launch has prompted HBO to start work on a TV series based on the game, according to a new report. After a few months of waiting, Hogwarts Legacy has finally arrived on last-gen consoles and it looks like the wait may have been worth it for Xbox One players after all.WB Games has announced that Hogwarts Legacy for Xbox One has been delayed again, by around a month or so this time out. The team feels it needs more time to "deliver the best possible experience on all platforms", with the last-gen release now arriving on May 5th, 2023. The team over at Digital Foundry has finally dug into the performance of Hogwarts Legacy on all console platforms, and you can tell why it's taken this long! Not only did the outlet set out to cover the game's launch day versions rather than pre-release code, but it also tested 21(!) modes across three... So from that screenshot, I assume the balanced mode is aiming for 40fps, and is only supported by devices with 120Hz. Looking forward to Hogwarts Legacy on Xbox Series X|S? As you can also see in the image above, you've got the ability to customise these performance modes to your liking as well. You can change whether the frame rate is capped or not, whether there's motion blur, and a variety of other options. It's nice to see Avalanche Software going the extra mile to add as many choices as possible here! Dezzy70 indeed, they also don't say what dose and doesn't make the cut with "graphic fidelity". If we're going to be going down this PC setting rabbit hole we should be given details.Baler The impossible Switch ports... at 460p25fps with downgraded assets, geometry, lighting and effects... 😝 This is good for VRR TVs and future consoles. For example, Team Sonic Racing was unable to run at 4k 60fps flawlessly on Xbox One X but it does on Series X. Hogwarts Legacy has been one of the biggest launches of 2023 so far, but the team doesn't seem to be hanging around when it comes to moving onto something new. Looking at a new job listing posted by developer Avalanche Software, the studio is already working on its next major project...
