About this deal

All models support up to DDR5-5200, LPDDR5-6400, DDR4-3200, or LPDDR4X-4266 memory, and 28 lanes of PCI Express 5.0/4.0. Some people have pointed out the cause may be that the I/O die being on a larger node and having to power the communication between dies is more costly for Ryzen, but it is hard to tell when looking in from the outside. All models support: SSE4.1, SSE4.2, AVX, AVX2, FMA3, Speed Shift Technology (SST), Intel 64, XD bit (an NX bit implementation), Intel VT-x, Intel VT-d, Hyper-threading, Turbo Boost, AES-NI, Smart Cache, Thread Director, DL Boost, and GNA 3.0. Max Turbo Frequency refers to the maximum single-core processor frequency that can be achieved with Intel® Turbo Boost Technology. See www.intel.com/technology/turboboost/ for more information and applicability of this technology. i3-12100 vs i3-13100F UserBenchmark: Intel Core i3-12100 vs i3-13100F

Update looks like I am wrong these are the new raptor cores but they are keeping cache the same for i3.From everything I've seen they are new revisions of Alder Lake cores rather than RPL. This somewhat makes sense as Intel wouldn't have to design a new core for a market they have no real competition in. All models support up to DDR5-4800 or DDR4-3200 memory, and 16 lanes of PCI Express 5.0 + 4 lanes of PCIe 4.0. Who knows we might get it by december this time. Raptorlake will hit the store a month earlier sometimes this month in october compared to alderlake which was in late novemberAll models support: MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, SSSE3, SSE4.1, SSE4.2, AVX, AVX2, FMA3, SGX, MPX, Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology (EIST), Intel 64, XD bit (an NX bit implementation), Intel VT-x, Intel VT-d, Hyper-threading, AES-NI, Smart Cache, and configurable TDP (cTDP) down (except 7020U). All models support: SSE4.1, SSE4.2, AVX, AVX2, FMA3, Speed Shift Technology (SST), Intel 64, Intel VT-x, Intel VT-d, Hyper-threading, Turbo Boost, AES-NI, IPU6 (except SRLFU) , TB4, Smart Cache, Thread Director, DL Boost, and GNA 3.0.

All models support: SSE4.1, SSE4.2, AVX, AVX2, FMA3, Speed Shift Technology (SST), Intel 64, Intel VT-x, Intel VT-d, Hyper-threading, Turbo Boost, AES-NI, IPU6, TB4, Smart Cache, Thread Director, DL Boost, and GNA 3.0. Horizon Zero Dawn shows all four CPUs maxing out the Radeon 6650 XT at between 120-130 fps. But when we moved to the Radeon 6950 XT, the 12100, 13100 and 5500 all delivered around 160 fps and the Ryzen 5600 went on to render 189 fps. That made it 12% faster than the i3-13100 and that margin grew to 22% with the RTX 4090. While this isn’t quite as impressive as the Core i3-12100’s rough 43% single and multi-threaded jumps over the Core i3-10100 (there was no Core i3-11100), it’s still a substantial leap considering there were nearly two years of R&D between the 10100 and 12100, versus only a year between the 12100 and 13100. ModelThe Intel Core i3-13100 can use up to 128 GB of memory in 2 memory channels. The maximum memory bandwidth is 76.8 GB/s. The Intel Core i5-13400 supports up to 128 GB of memory in 2 memory channels and achieves a memory bandwidth of up to 76.8 GB/s. All models support: MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, SSSE3, SSE4.1, SSE4.2, AVX, AVX2, FMA3, Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology (EIST), Intel 64, XD bit (an NX bit implementation), Intel VT-x, Intel VT-d, Intel SGX, Intel MPX, Hyper-threading, AES-NI, Intel TSX-NI, Smart Cache. The Intel Core i3-13100 is manufactured in 10 nm and has 17.00 MB cache. The Intel Core i5-13400 is manufactured in 10 nm and has a 29.50 MB cache. If you enjoyed this type of article, know we'll be doing more of it over the coming weeks and months. Adding the Ryzen 5 7600 to the mix could be really interesting, so let us know what you think about this potential matchup and any other you may be looking to see tested by us. Shopping Shortcuts: All models support: MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, SSSE3, SSE4.1, SSE4.2, AVX, AVX2, FMA3, Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology (EIST), Intel 64, XD bit (an NX bit implementation), Intel VT-x, Hyper-threading, Smart Cache. All models support: MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, SSSE3, SSE4.1, SSE4.2, AVX, AVX2, FMA3, SGX, MPX, Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology (EIST), Intel 64, XD bit (an NX bit implementation), Intel VT-x, Intel VT-d, Hyper-threading, AES-NI, Smart Cache. As such, outside of some microcode tuning, the 13100 is identical to the 12100. That is evident from the L2 cache capacity, which weighs in at 1.25 MB per core for the 13100. In contrast, the truly new Raptor Cove cores come with 2MB per core. All models support: SSE4.1, SSE4.2, AVX2, AVX-512, FMA3, Speed Shift Technology (SST), Intel 64, Intel VT-x, Intel VT-d, Turbo Boost, Hyper-threading, AES-NI, Smart Cache, DL Boost, Optanememory , GNA 2.0, IPU6 (except SRK08) , TB4, and configurable TDP (cTDP).
