About this deal

Since my initial experience with salvia divinorum in 2009, I have been driven to conduct extensive research and document the incredible effects of this plant. Most salvias thrive in the full sun but can also handle living in partial shade. However, expect that your plants living in partial shade may experience a diminished bloom output. The report went on to quote Sharon Levy, medical director of adolescent substance abuse at Children’s Hospital, "There’s no reason for kids to use this product. It’s a dangerous substance for kids to experiment with." The credibility of such statements are suspect though, considering that developmental studies on Salvia divinorum use have not been conducted. Also, salvinorin A produces dysphoria as well as hallucinations, thus making it less likely for users to chronically use it. As far as safety is concerned, it is not possible to lethally overdose on salvinorin A using the common methods of ingestion (smoked/intrabuccal/sublingual/oral). However, the actions of people under the influence of salvinorin A could lead to serious harm (running, falling, drowning, crashing a vehicle, etc.), which is why traditional use suggests having other people present during its use to restrain the user if necessary. In regards to safety in terms of addiction, unlike more traditional hallucinogens like LSD and mescaline, salvinorin A affects kappa Opioid receptors and is noted for its reverse tolerance. As such, using Salvia divinorum decreases tolerance to salvinorin A and makes dysphor This stunning herbaceous perennial has sky blue flowers on tall, showy, branched spikes with large, wavy, grey-green leaves. In the wild it is found in northern Africa, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, and south-western Spain, usually between 500-1200 meters.

Lt. Andy Greenstreet, deputy commander of the Alaska Bureau of Alcohol and Drug Enforcement said, "Reports of problems stemming from the plant's use are rare to nonexistent in Alaska."Crouch was reported as saying – "The fact it has that kind of (hallucinogenic) reaction and is not illegal certainly caused me to look at it seriously". Jennifer Brislin, a spokeswoman for the state Justice Cabinet, said the bill was something that they had been pushing. "We see it as a growing problem. We are just trying to stay ahead of the curve."

In March 2008 it was reported that Florida state Representative Mary Brandenburg had proposed a bill to make possession of salvia a felony punishable by up to five years in prison. Dr. Mark Plotkin, Conservation International, author of Medicine Quest: In Search of Nature's Healing Secrets Note: The statements contained here and in the Kratom User's Guide have not been evaluated by the Food & Drug Administration (FDA). This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Despite this, a number of states have proposed their own legislation. For example, Louisiana, Missouri, Tennessee, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, North Dakota, and Minnesota have so far passed laws prohibiting Salvia divinorum. Salvia divinorum remains legal in other states, however. Though some bills have died during session, the situation is subject to further change pending the outcome of more recent bills still at the proposal stage. Proposed bill wording amended from original Schedule I prohibition to only prohibit sale to minors instead. – Passed. Came into effect on 01-Jan-2009.It is a good idea to use shop-bought fertiliser/plant feed every now and again to keep the plant healthy. Just be careful not to overfeed and cause mineral buildup. The effects of the plant have been largely attributed to the diterpene lagochilin. The closely related compounds lagochilin-3-acetate and lagochilin-tetraacetate are also present in the plant and might contribute to the overall effects. Like Salvia divinorum, this is one of the few members of the mint family (Labiatae) that is traditionally used as an inebriant. The most commonly reported effects include relaxation, euphoria, and subtle perceptual changes. On March 29, 2007, Senator Hank Erwin (R) proposed Senate Bill 330, which would have made Salvia divinorum a Schedule I substance in Alabama; however, the bill died in the Senate Judiciary Committee. [25] Albino Sage". The rarely seen and very lovely pure white flowered form of common sage. It also has paler milky grey foliage and a slightly dwarfer habit than the normal blue flowered form. Salvinorin A is misspelled as "Salvinorum A". Salvia divinorum is not specifically listed but the plant is covered by the law because it contains salvinorin A, which is specifically listed in the bill. [22]

Attention: Kratom remains legal, for now! On August 31, 2016, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) published in the Federal Register a notice of intent to temporarily place mitragynine and 7-hydroxymitragynine, which are the main psychoactive constituents of the plant Mitragyna speciosa, also referred to as kratom, into schedule I pursuant to the temporary scheduling provisions of the Controlled Substances Act. Since publishing that notice, DEA has received numerous comments from members of the public challenging the scheduling action and requesting that the agency consider those comments and accompanying information before taking further action. In addition, DEA will receive from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) a scientific and medical evaluation and scheduling recommendation for these substances, which DEA previously requested.Effective from August 8, 2005 (signed into law on June 28, 2005), Louisiana Act No 159 made 40 plants, including Salvia divinorum, illegal if sold for human consumption. It is still legal to own the plants. Simple possession of an illegal form of Salvia is a felony for which the maximum sentence is 5 years; production (even for personal use) or distribution (even for free) has a maximum sentence of 10 years and a minimum sentence of 2 years. In addition, the defendant can even be sentenced to hard labor for either offense. This is the long-awaited English language version of Dr. Rätsch's massive encyclopedia. The most comprehensive and thoroughly illustrated guide to the botany, history, distribution, and cultivation of all known psychoactive plants. The photos in this book are amazing. Essential reading (and viewing) for anyone with a deep interest in the subject. Some vendors are selling herbs as " Lagochilus inebrians" that are not the correct species. At least one vendor has been selling a different species, Lagochilus cabulicus, falsely claiming that it is the same as Lagochilus inebrians. I have analyzed the material offered by that vendor and found that it does not contain lagochilin. Unfortunately, the problem of people selling misidentified herbs is quite common. Unlike most other vendors, we always compare the morphological and chemical characteristics of our herbs against authenticated specimens to make sure that they are what they are supposed to be. Vibrational Voyage is a radio show broadcast from KKUP in Cupertino, California. The show is dedicated to the exploration of consciousness. On August 14, 2001 the show featured this live, in-depth, 96-minute discussion about Salvia divinorum. This is a great tool for visionary journeys in general, but especially so for use with Salvia divinorum, because its effects are much more pronounced when one is in darkness. Also useful for meditation, relaxation, sleep, and headache relief. A set of earplugs is included.

Cocao beans are one of the most important ritual offering used by the Mazatecs. The beans are usually present on their altars, and sometimes they are ritually consumed during ceremonies. We hope to have more around the beginning of 2018, but don't know for certain.) Blue lotus produces euphoria, feelings of wellbeing, relaxation, mild sedation, and dream-like hypnotic effects. Some people report that it increases libido. The effects are pleasant. To the best of my knowledge, negative effects have not been reported. When taken orally, the effects begin in about 30 minutes and last 2-3 hours. The typical dosage range for mild-to-moderate effects is 5-10 grams (up to 20 grams for a heavy dose). Most people prepare it as a tea. When prepared this way, the herb is usually simmered in water for 10-20 minutes before drinking. Some people like to infuse it into wine and then drink the wine. When prepared this way, the herb is mixed with wine and allowed to infuse for anywhere from a few hours to a few weeks.
