About this deal

As far as the overall design goes for the earbuds, there’s not too much to complain about. The design is functional and, most importantly, they’re comfortable to wear when listening to them. Charging Case The energetic sound and super strong deep bass of Soundpeats T2 just beats the Taotronics dull bass. If you are a basshead you shouldn’s have a second thought Soundpeats T2 is your earbud. The audio pass through works extremely effectively but the end result can't really be described as 'natural sounding'. Outside sounds come through pretty clearly but both amplifier and compressed. Don't get me wrong, it serves its purpose but Sony and Apple's definitely do it better. To be honest, it's actually not a feature I use all that often. When the charging case is powered, open the charging case, then bothSoundpeats T2 earbuds will enter pairing mode automatically. You will see the indicators flashes in blue and white. But those usage periods will drop if you start using the ANC mode or the ambient mode or listen to the volume extremely loud, which is not recommended.

Battery life has been great. I wanted to see just how long these would last with my normal several hours per day listening schedule. After the first charge, I used them starting on a Saturday afternoon all the way to the middle of the next Thursday without recharging the case. This was with 4 – 6 hour average per day listening, with extra time where they were in my ears on standby when I needed to concentrate but didn’t want to have to put the earbuds away. I usually charge my earbuds every night so it’s not very often that I would need to go almost a week between full charges but it’s nice to know I could for a camping trip, for a prolonged power outage, or some other time when I just don’t need to think about needing to charge them. Hybrid noise cancellation uses the microphones to seek out ambient noises and then cancel them out. With 2 noise cancelling mics in each of the SOUNDPEATS T2 earbuds, one of them works for both noise reduction and phone calls, the SOUNDPEATS T2 wireless earbuds can effectively suppress ambient noise in a large range by up to 30dB. Transparency Mode & Touch Control The SoundPEATS T2 offer good sound quality for the price. Overall, they sound fairly well rounded and balanced for a pair of wireless earbuds, the treble, mid and bass is all present and isn’t outweighing or fighting for airtime between one another. The earbuds are powered by 12mm drivers which offer good stereo separation for providing an immersive listening experience to both music and visual content such as YouTube videos, TV shows and movies. The earbuds offer a well-balanced sound for the price. On the front of the case, there are three LED indicators that show the charging level of the case but also when the earbuds themselves are charging. I like that the case shows both of these as it’s handy to know when the earbuds are fully charged by only needing to glance at the case, some pricier earbuds don’t feature this ability on their case so it’s nice to see it on these. This TWS are rated at 10 hours of continuous battery life on a single charge and 30 hours when using the recharging cycles of the case – when ANC is turned on the 10 hours will be reduced to 8 hours.

Transparency mode quality: The mode SoundPEATS calls 'Passthrough' works decent. It emphasizes brighter mid-tones from your surroundings, to make you hear voices and traffic around you. This works when you're listening to music on low to moderate volumes, but it also lets in strong wind noise, making it annoying to use when walking or cycling. Holding the touchpad for 6 seconds puts the earbuds into pairing mode. Not as convenient as having multipoint (which is still few and far in TWS), but it does save the step of disconnecting to my current device. Holding the touchpad for about 10 seconds turns off both earbuds. This proves important, because the earbuds don’t power off in the case if it is depleted. The earbuds power off together but need to be powered on again individually. I rate the Active Noise Cancelling up there with the best ANC buds that I’ve tested, like the Soundcore’s. Aside from the branding on the sides, there’s not too much to look at around the earbuds. Their design is fairly simplistic, which gets the job done, and there are a couple of holes dotted around for microphones and LED indicator lights. The underside has charging pins as well as ear left/right indicators and the underside of the earbuds is also slightly rounded to give themselves a more ergonomic design that fits comfortably into the ear.

Furthermore, the non-boosted sub-bass will allow them to be less-prone to present an excessively bass-centered sound signature and/or “bass-drowning” sound issues.to increase the volume, tap once on the right earbuds, and it will slowly increase your volume and to volume down, press once on the left earbuds, and it will increase slowly volume down They have three ANC modes - off (by default), 'ambient passthrough' and 'on'. Passthrough mode is decent enough, without adding the echoey sound you get on many earbuds, but it could be clearer. Another point of note is that ANC is off by default, so you have to cycle through once to ensure it is on. When the battery level of the charging case is 0%-19%, the first LED at the bottom flashes in white I love that it has the soft power on mode because you can really hear it start to eliminate the Outside noises and surrounding noises as it powers up to full control.
