About this deal

For your afternoon lesson today, please watch the attached video. Perhaps, you could identify a favourite technique to implement over the course of the next week? In this book, Ellie’s father has died, leaving the Emporium to Daniel, who puts his own twist on the wonders inside, transforming it into a grand circus. He also has removed the veil of secrecy that once surrounded it, giving interviews, etc. The Emporium has no fixed location. It travels from town to town wowing everyone who enters. The Emporium is powered by the magic of dreams – To enter, you must share one of your best. The writing is rich with descriptive detail. Readers will be able to picture every magnificent thing that Daniel has brought to life inside the Emporium. Please follow the link to the Oak Academy lesson about 'Fieldwork: can I create a sketch map of roads in my community?'. I liked this book because the emporium gets stolen from Daniel and people are disappearing and turning into shadows. This classic good versus evil fantasy adventure builds on a fascinating idea of a world devoid of colour and joy. But there’s much more to it than that.

This book is amazing! I would recommend it to people from age 7 - 12 who have read the first book in the series, The Nowhere Emporium for this is the second book. My favourite characters are Daniel and Ellie, the two main characters. Armistice Day: A Collection of Remembrance - Spark Interest and Educate Children about Historical Moments This is another great book but not one for bedtime reading as it has some bits that were a bit scary! Please follow the link to the Oak Academy lesson about 'What enquiries are geographers currently doing?'. The timeline doesn’t feel correct. Ellie and Daniel are really still kids, yet Ellie’s father, Mr. Silver, was already a powerful adult magician with a significant reputation more than 50 years ago. Daniel is making a bit of a name for himself in the magical community and wherever he and Ellie take the Nowhere Emporium, people come to see it. However someone is after more than just a visit and while they are out visiting one of the magical locations, the Emporium is stolen away. The dark shadow follows their every move, entrapping more and more innocents as it strives forward. Wow. Ein tolles Buch, eine tolle Geschichte. Zauberhaft gezeichnete Charaktere. Das Buch macht einfach Spaß beim Lesen. Following Mr Silver's death in The Nowhere Emporium, Daniel has taken over running the shop full of wonders.
