About this deal

Feel free to invite some friends to join our Round Table community!http://www.goodreads.com/group/invite_members/26989-goodreads-authors-readers I love the way Yasmin snaps in the end, I wasn't expecting it- but after everything she went through it's understandable. and her stupidity shone when she gets a messge from an unknown number telling her to come to Egypt and she does!!! I appreciate, however, that there was no grooming on MMC's part. Taboo doesn't scare me off, but it wouldn't have matched Julian's character at all.

OW/OM DRAMA OM — Yasmin has been seeing Aidan for years, and Julian sees them together while they’re having sex (before he cared about her) Also, I loved her friend Riya's character! She was a nice friend! But I hated Aidan! And I also didn't like how Yasmin's father did not trust her enough to leave everything to her alone! Anyways, THIS BOOK WAS TOO GOOD! 💖 Authors, if you are a member of the Goodreads Author Program, you can edit information about your own books. Find out how in this guide. Holy shit was this amazing!! I absolutely understand why this is people’s favourite!! Like the tension?!?! The slow burn?!?! THE SMUT?????!!!!!!

so she made Jasmine (Yasmine) a dump beautiful face and designed her for the very thing I hated it about movie Jasmine = a cliched sexualized sensual woman I’m in love with you, Julian Faraci. And I would burn the world myself if it meant I could keep you by my side.” Other than that, I really enjoyed this fourth installment in the series. Twisted was dark, sultry, sexy, and such an addicting read. Julian forever lives in my head rent free from here on out. Bless Emily for writing a man who definitely knew what to say in the bedroom. From International bestselling author Emily McIntire comes a dark and delicious fractured fairy tale reimagining of Aladdin.

She could burn Sultans to the ground with me inside, and I’d die happily, knowing she was queen of the ashes.” My ovaries just exploded from it 🤤😩. And let's not forget his " My wife" mantra and his need to breed Yasmin to tie her to him❤️‍🔥😭! ( my favorite kinks 💋) This man is perfection 🤌 As always, Emily does a fantastic job of weaving in the original tales in such a creative way and gives us adult topics from our much beloved childhood stories/movies. I initially gave this 4 stars because, overall, I had fun with it; but the more I let it sit, the more I thought I've waited so long to read this and yet was a little disappointed because I could hardly see any difference between this book's dark romance and the previous Never After ones. It took way too long for Yasmin and Julian’s fake marriage to happen. The first half of the book dragged, made worse by the fact most of it was filled with Yasmin’s love for Aidan and worry of her father finding out. Since there was such a focus on her and Aidan’s relationship for a majority of the novel, it made Yasmin’s character incredibly unlikable because of how unwilling she was to fight for and stay loyal to the man she “loved.” By the time her and Julian felt secure as a couple, the final conflict was happening and then promptly resolved. We didn’t get to really see them as a couple. This was great. I think Twisted has the best/strongest storyline of all the Never After books in that it's the most interesting and well done, particularly in how it weaves a brand new contemporary plot with the original core aspects of the Aladdin tale. It's also definitely the most slow burn romance of the Never After books, but it works perfectly in this enemies-to-lovers retelling of Aladdin where Jasmine (Yasmin) ends up with Jafar (Julian) because the build up is worth the explosiveness of their relationship. It also has Yasmin and Jafar entering into a fake marriage so her father stops trying to arrange a husband for her, so if you like that trope then you'll love this. Its just so well done here, and honestly of all the fake marriage or marriage of convenience books I've read this might be my favorite. It felt real and authentic, probably because of the slow burn. The American writer and novelist Emily McIntire is well known for publishing numerous contemporary romance titles. With plenty of fun and entertaining books, she’s known for drawing her readers in and keeping them there constantly throughout. This approach to writing is something that she’s excelled at over the years, really managing to find her own voice as time goes on. Setting herself apart from other writers within her field, she really pushes the conventions of the genre forwards, fully making them her own. I totally get why this is everyone’s favourite in the series but I got to be honest and say that Scarred still is and will probably always be my favourite but this is a close second!
