This new release coincides with a new documentary, called WHAM! which is a feature length documentary directed by Chris Smith and producers John Battsek and Simon Halfon. The filmmakers have been given “unprecedented access to both George and Andrew’s personal archive” including remarkable and never-before-seen footage, alongside rare, candid and previously unheard interviews. Wham! The Singles: Echoes From The Edge Of Heaven is a special, limited edition 7″ vinyl carry case containing all the pair’s singles (A and B sides) in replica sleeves plus a Wham! Christmas message 7″. Released in the UK on 2LP/CD/2MC & (Box Set) Reached #2 in the UK Chart. The album was not initially released in North America, where Wham!'s third and final studio album Music from the Edge of Heaven was released instead. Four songs from that album appear on this compilation.
