And the whole “oh Remi you are just the most special girl in the world” and the other female characters hated her for being so special and taking all their shine literally made me want to burn the book. Spare me that bs please. I’ll start with what I liked, for the most part I liked the FMC Remi, she’s unique, funny, and brash. I liked the setting, the cute little island town was quaint and the thriller/mystery was also very compelling.
