What: Venchi’s Cremino range has long been one of its most popular and it’s easy to see why when you taste the eggs. There are lots of different eggs on offer but we’d keep it classic with this smooth milk chocolate number.
What: Percy Pig and Colin the Caterpiller - two iconic treats that are getting an Easter makeover from M&S this year. Treat the chocolate lover in your life to a giant Percy Pig or Colin face - the latter is white chocolate, and Percy is milk chocolate so they cover all bases. Dairy Fine Mini Eggs Chunky Bar - 225g (a great alternative to the Cadbury's Mini Eggs Bar which is now a 'may contain' for gluten) Recipes can change and vary at the drop of a hat so you should always be on the safe side when trying to find ones that are gluten free. What: Brand new this year, Dorset chocolatiers Chococo have a quality vegan Easter egg on offer too, made using oat milk and 43% Colombia origin chocolate. Chococo eggs are always beautifully finished as well, making this a lovely gift for a vegan pal, if you can manage not to eat it before you give it away. This list is by no means exhaustive but contains most of the major supermarket and named brands I could find on the shelves.
What: Chocolate orange fans, this one's for you - Selfridges’ egg mixes single origin dark chocolate with zesty orange chocolate, and it looks pretty smart too. There are two other delicious flavours available too - a praline and a tasty malted blonde version.
