About this deal

The hordes of 5-star reviews more than outweigh the small number of unhappy owners – we like the Oneisall and can recommend it based on our experience. The steel is food-grade 18/8 so didn’t retain any smell or flavour from a tremendously strong cup of tea or coffee. The size you pick should be based on your individual needs, as well as the activities you might be doing while using it.

It’s an excellent feature on the 1000ml flask, which although feels a bit top heavy, is lightweight overall and also comes with the option of an adjustable shoulder strap.

We recommend avoiding BPA where possible, and we have striven to let you know whether BPA is used in our choices of best thermos flask below. The two-part locking lid doubles as a rotatable spout, so it’s ideal for taking a sip when you’re walking, although the plastic part of the lid does feel somewhat less durable than the metal. Not having to remove the full cap reduces the amount of heat that escapes when using it, so liquids stay hot for longer. Within its stainless steel construction is a copper lining, although there’s no metallic smell on opening.

We were able to keep some tomato soup warm for 24 hours and on another occasion, some chilled orange squash remained cold after 36 hours. We also filled the flasks or cups with boiled water and then used that water to make a cup of tea for our 'tea test', and scored it out of ten based on how hot the resulting drink was. A little ridge in the twist valve to make room for your nose is just another small design feature that makes a big difference to the comfort of drinking out of this insulated flask. We liked the push button on the lid – push it in to drink from it, push it again to lock it and seal in heat. The temperature performance is excellent and compares favourably to the other top performers in the world of elite flasks. It is definitely more space efficient to use one big flask for the group rather than several small, individual flasks. And if you’re heading out there with a friend, even better, because there’s a second plastic ‘buddy cup’ hidden inside the larger metal one. The best of the best are made from 18/8-grade steel (aka 304-grade), whose high nickel content makes it rust-proof and extremely durable.

Ice cream won’t quite go the distance, but if you pack the flask with a handful of wrapped lollies straight from the fridge they’ll stay frozen for a few hours. For instance, the cup is insulated with plastic, so our tea retained its heat without being too hot to hold. It’s like we’re hard-wired to appreciate that soothing warmth spreading around our bodies like a “Ready Brek” glow.If you think about it, the majority of a flask is wasted space and not actually used for carrying liquid – it is there for the heat insulation. It’s also non-magnetic, which may disappoint if you would hoped to adorn your Thermos with fridge magnets. It has a capacity of 400ml and its leak-proof twist lid ensures that food and drink stay put, wherever you go. The Milu offers decent quality materials and the strong housing mechanism makes it durable and comfortable to use in the outdoors without fear of breakages.
