We produce our own Dr Zigs Bubble Mix in the valleys of Snowdonia (North Wales) to a secret recipe containing 97% of distilled Welsh sea water with a little bit of added love, magic, and a trace of Welsh dragon essence. It’s especially about the kids in refugee camps, who for a few moments, with the Bubbles can have a moment to just be kids. From invaluable exchanges with peers to meetings with those leading the industry, inspirations and mentors, so kind and generous with advice, encouragement and words of wisdom.

MADE IN THE UK – All our toys and mix are handcrafted in the UK, supporting local and national companies, and using sustainable, organic materials where possible. And whilst there we spoke in so many languages, we came from so many countries, this shared language of toys, of industry created a family. And this ‘emotional’ experience, a reminder that it is all after all about the children that will play with our toys, about the laughter, the smiles, the learning. The emotion of working in the Messe, in famed Hall 3, with so many companies also striving for change, and finally beginning to feel a collective movement building to explore and create a more sustainable industry.

And yes, that is the memory and the word I will take - it has been awesome, busy, so very busy, and just filled to the brim with emotion. Of the buzz of the production line; learning processes, lean assembly, problem solving, fire fighting. The emotion of seeing people walking down the busy hallways making a beeline for us, for Dr Zigs, for our stand. I am SO looking forward to meeting up with ALL of you wonderful friends and toy industry peeps over the next couple of weeks!
