Each game starts with four dinosaur miniatures, the T-Rex, Brachiosaurus, Triceratops, and the Velociraptor. You’ll start with a high priority task like rescuing Hammond’s grandchildren or repairing a generator before your dinosaurs break out of containment, and each round will throw you a massive curveball that forces you to react quickly. For example, most starting actions are finance based, so you are not going to get far without The Director. Once you get through Betrayal, Risk, Werewolf, and the three seasons of Pandemic, there isn’t much else out there. The action scaling is frankly a huge blunder and leaves The Legacy of Isla Nublar working best at only two or three players.That’s not surprising given it's Funko’s first legacy game, but it's nice to see a language start to develop within the genre. Players cannot intervene or help with other players’ actions, so you can only depend on your own skill to complete an objective.
